The ever-expanding Silverburn now contains a cinema and a number of new food outlets including a brand new shiny TGI Fridays which is located right at the new entrance from the bus station. We visited on a busy Saturday night (with a reservation) and were quickly seated, going straight for the cocktails.

I've never visited this particular TGI’s before, but I have a particular soft spot for the brand.
TGI’s was the first American Diner I ever sampled in the UK, many moons ago.
This time I visited with my husband and son, who aren't fans, but they forfeited their usual choices as a wee treat for me.
I have to say - any restaurant that boasts a Harley Davidson at the door is good enough for me.
We ate reasonably late on a school night, so it was pretty quiet, with no wait time.
I am biased - but when it comes to the ambience - this place ticks all my boxes.
It's got that casual feel unique to American culture; no airs and graces, scruffy or dolled up to the nines, you get the same level of service.
It is spacious, with some seating entirely on the level or with a few stairs at most.
The tables are huge, comfortable and great for any number of diners.
The table settings are simple, but everything feels immaculately clean.
The service is outstanding, with the staff bending over backwards to accommodate your needs.
The menu is traditional American diner, with something on there for everyone.
The service is fast, the staff are friendly and the food is quality.
On this particular visit my son and I shared a selection of starters as our meal.
I heartily recommend checking out the onion rings and the macaroni cheese bites, followed by a Cream Soda float to wash it down!
The prices are pretty standard for this type of restaurant in Glasgow and for me, as an experience, it was totally worth it.
reliable for a nice quick bite, service is always top notch and the food is tasty. Never had a bad time in this restaurant, the burgers are always spot on, also great place for a nice pint and cocktails
I've never known this place not to be busy and sometimes we had to wait for a table, but it was worth it.
Food is tasty with some choice for vegetarians and, as someone else mentioned, portion sizes are good.
Staff is always there and happy to help. There's a good vibe in this restaurant as well. Prices are same as everywhere else - not the lowest, but not extortionate either. Decent portions and friendly staff make up for it.
Was here for lunch with a friend we ordered Fridays wings and Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips and Mario fries all tasted great but the Mario fries were a real treat also the waitress who dealt with us was very welcoming and friendly,looking forward to our next visit
Amazing experience. Jude was a great server, very attentive and didn't keep us waiting at any point
The staff are such nice people especially after a drink was spilled. There’s also free refills which are just the best. I love the hot sauce that is on the chicken wings and boneless chicken wings. I also love the blue cheese dip which is a bit random but it’s amazing trust me. I do wish there were more vegetarian options as im in the process of becoming one. Another friend I went with wishes there were more halal options. I do think the prices are maybe a bit expensive but not a large issue. I know I will be back as it’s a great place for family.

Kerry you absolute babe. You were lovely from beginning to end and made my birthday dinner really nice. Thank you so much and you ran out with the food to make sure it was piping hot for us. Thank you so much again and food was lovely too. The cake was really nice and thank you for making me red faced during the happy birthday song.
Amazing food and our server was so lovely and helpful, we had refills just in time for finishing the previous. Was well managed for social distancing
