Cafe Roma

Overall, I enjoyed my brunch at Roma and would recommend for a good value brunch and coffee. Couple of areas for improvement - I didn’t like that I ordered a full Scottish breakfast and had to pay an additional £1.50 for toast which came with it. Staff are young and feel a little lacking in training.

food is alway great for dinner but our latest experience was disappointing they didn't have the beer we wanted didn't have bruchetta didn't have lamb shank or beef ribs or any sticky toffee pudding all the things we wanted to order, this was only at 7pm on a Saturday night how could they have nothing left. It was disappointing as it was a special occasion celebration for us and couldn't get what we wanted to eat. What we had was very good just the lack of choice was the problem.

First evening visit here and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service (from the fantastic Jonathan) was the cherry on the cake. Hold on to him Cafe Roma. He's a keeper. 😁 A (very) few local restaurants can just about match the food but that combined with the service provided is the USP. Highly recommended 👌

Me and my husband went for a lunch, and it was absolutely lovely experience. I had avocado on toast and can't recommend more. My husband had the eggs florentine and was so delicious. The staff was so lovely and friendly. Jana our waitress was so nice and make our time there so delightfully. We are definitely coming back.

My children and me were dining there last Saturday and the food was absolutely delicious. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is so calm and inviting. My children loved the food and finished their food (which they normally don’t) and that’s them chose their meal from the adult menu. 5 stars from all of us.

Roma was lovely, the food was great and the service tremendous. A few of us starters. The bruschetta and the haggis scotch egg were excellent. For main courses, we ordered steaks, a carbonara and a fish & chips. All were thoroughly enjoyed. If you are a dessert person, try the brownie, it was marvellous. It was a Friday evening and we were one of only two parties in the restaurant. Unfortunately, this made the atmosphere a wee bit flat. This is no fault of the management. I gather they've only just started evening service so hopefully word gets out and numbers rise. Roma certainly deserves to be much busier. We will certainly return. A final word goes to the new assistant manager whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. She was very attentive without being intrusive and that can be a fine line to walk.
