What a great local place to visit. We were quickly identified as visitors by our accent (US) and brought into wonderful conversations with bar locals. We came because of the Monday night Folk jam and it did not disappoint. They even let me attempt to play along with a uke one of them let me use (I could not keep up😉). This has been added as a ❤️ location in Google maps because I will return some day.

The misso and I were delighted to discover this this friendly establishment in Glasgow, the service we received was more expected, the barman, charming and witty was happy to indulge our 20 questions regarding what beer to get with our 8 pound, pint & pint and pizza deal. The pizza was great, and the beer just as good. The atmosphere was cozy and charismatic

Famous Glasgow music venue, weekends are busy with a variety of performances of many music genres. Loads of cover bands. Great food. Marvellous pizza +pint or glass of wine for £8.50. Staff, are terrific, helpful and friendly. Located next to river clyde in the heart of the city in Stockwell st/Clyde St.

hello friends family travellers world barry MCG here again writing about another fantastic place and seriously a must go to when your in the city of glasgow no word of a lie! ok i studied in the big city 20 years ago and as a vocalist i used to go to the excellant open mike nights they had it was always fun friendly and just great vibes im pleased to say nothing has changed especially after the terrible accident that happened some years ago. i was in glasgow for two days seeing a band play and lo and behold my hotel was five mins from the clutha so off i trotted not knowing anyone but with hope in my heart id have a great time and i wasnt disapointed as soon as walked in the vibes and friendliness were bang on the cluthas moved from the old site not far just into what was the beer garden a stage as you walk in and a general feeling of calm and cosiness its so intimate and nice i chatted with the lads behind the bar really lovely fellas and they said i could do a bit at the open mike great! i then had a look at the pizzas oh the pizzas fresh as a daisy quality ingredients fired in a genuine italian wood burning oven i went for the old fave ham and pineapple and woah it was seriously tasty i mean top drawer oh yeah nb you can get a pint and a pizza for only 8.50 every day what a bargain what a taste happy with my food i just soaked up the ambience meeting ever so friendly folks and enjoying the night, the music started hosted by the great and talented KC and his buddy sorry forgot your name and they were great the crowd seemed to enjoy them as i did i got up and done a wee bit then drank a few more icy cold beers and enjoyed the night! All i can say is what a great place with genuine friendly talented folks did i say the food was top notch ha oh yeah i did so please folks pop by it will be well worth your while peace and love boys barry MCG

Great place for a quick drink and even better at the weekend. Very mixed crowd, from teenage punks to old age pensioner all having a great time together. Bands at the weekend are decent standard. The mural outside is magnificent but urgently needs some repairs done.

Excellent live music bar, just across the road from the river Clyde. It was a busy night but I hardly had to wait at the bar to get served. Prices were reasonable too. Food was nice. Nice seating area outside at both the front and in the beer garden at the side door.
