The Hyndland Fox

As a food blogger, I was invited to visit this venue and try their festive menu. The food was spectacular, the service was very attentive and we loved the restaurant. We had ham hock and the smoked salmon starters, and perfectly cooked roast leg duck for main, lovely toffee nut latte at the end. Amazing food quality and extensive menu, I was so pleased with everything and look forward to coming back.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Food is well proportioned and fairly priced. I had the salt beef brisket sandwich and a side of chips. Really nice combination with decent pickles. Selection of drinks is good. I was driving so just had a tonic water. Sadly their chosen brand of tonic is a bit tasteless but it's always good to try a new brand, just in case!

Great wee place for brunch with friendly staff. We ordered the poached eggs and it really hit the spot. Only downside was that we were sitting facing away from the specials board and none of the staff told us the options, was only when we were leaving that we seen we could have had eggs Benedict instead. It also took a while for us to get the bill. That being said, it didn't affect our lovely morning and yummy grub :)
