Been coming here for years (formerly know as queens cafe) Old skool vanilla gelato cant beat it, that same old recipe over 35 years ( before I was born probably) the best ice cream by far in glasgow, none of this fancy ice cream that dessert shops have, they have other flavours aswell but vanilla is the best, they have nice raspberry syrup, they sell bottles of that, sometimes buy the big tub for litre for 15 quid, but it's worth it, they sell smaller tubs on the go aswell, would recommend to try it if in the Southside of glasgow

Great ice cream and nice staff, much better than their bling bling new neighbours at Loop n Scoop, BUT they lose a star for the militant cash-only policy, which is really not defensible in 2023. Yes, there's an overhead for taking card payments, but there's an overhead for having to keep a cash float and processing cash too. There's overhead for rent, utilities and everything else, and that's just the way of the world. They need to bite the bullet and start taking card payments - customers should not have to find a working ATM and take out the amount they think they need plus extra rounded up to the nearest ten. But the ice cream is great, keep it up.

My family have been buying the ice cream from Queens Cafe since the ‘70s and the only ice cream even close to it is Zavaroni’s in Rothesay. I have lived and travelled the world and continue to sing the praises of the stuff. Although you moved your recipe lives on! Heading out now to buy a tub ti take across to my mum xxx

I originally moved to Victoria Rd at 15, next door to Queens cafe. I am now 47 and have travelled quite a bit of the world, including Italy. My favourite vanilla ice cream is here. Still family run and people who I remember. I cannot tell people enough, how amazing the ice cream is and actually how sad, they had 2 move. Still on Vickie Rd and still make sure I buy a tub 2 take home

Lovely ice cream I had been trying to track down a place that sold amazing vanilla ice cream like a place that used to be on Dumbarton Road Partick 25 year's ago and this place had the same style of vanilla I travel from Bishopbriggs 3 times a week now since I discovered this place. I'M NOT SURE HOW TO RESPOND ON THIS, BUT IF YOU SEE THIS, YES, I BELIEVE IT WAS JUST WHERE THE BINGO IS NOW ALONG FROM THE OLD COMET

My brother deep freezes the ice cream and brings it to Manchester. It’s insanely good. Nothing like it in England!

Just the Best! Our family have been getting this ice cream since the 80's. My mother used to come every week, unfortunately she died, just before it got bought over in 96, I come out of my way actually to get it. the only downfall is you are limited to a £7.50 tub!! I'm looking to buy more of it. I come all the way from Troon to get your ice cream, its now costing me more now to get to it. The ice cream factory in troon dont limit how much you buy, they're just happy with the custom. I've got 2 daughters who also😍 love queens cafe traditional vanilla with home made raspberry.
