Great burgers, good drinks (alcoholic & nom-alcoholic!) And modern relaxed decor. Service was speedy and friendly

Great burger that managed to quench my burger hunger much more than Tribeca in Merchant City. Quality meat and good service to match.

We popped in here on spec for a quick bite before going to the cinema. Excellent burgers served with lovely relish and fresh salad etc. What was also excellent was the quality of service. From the moment we entered the staff were very friendly engaging and helpful, made some good recommendations from the menu and had a good bit of banter into the bargain. Prices quite good also.

Great place for great burgers! Kid friendly and great staff too! The wee one loves to count the number of cows hidden in plain sight all over the place.. keeps the restless feet busy until food arrives! I appreciate the owner walking along and taking feedback from the customers.. shows there is effort involved.

First of all, we disagree with the bad reviews. The burgers were excellent, we could change everything as we wanted. Fresh ingredients, everything very tasty (also the chips). The staff was very kind, we had very nice chats with them. In our case, we went on a thursday, so it was not that busy but I can't imagine that these guys being unfriendly. Of course, the prices are "british". Comparing to Germany the prices are the same just with a £ after the numbers, but definitely worth it. Recommended!!!

Walking into a burger place as a vegetarian doesn't seem like the most logical choice, but I stand corrected; what a restaurant! Walked into a spacious, beautifully industrial space, with more than enough (authentic!) seating and fantastic atmosphere. And don't be fooled, the vegetarian bean burger can actually replace any ordinary hamburger on the menu. Very delighted to see them do that. Burgers seem a bit small when served, but will leave you filled to the top. Fair priced, wholesome delicious food - vegetarian ready. Love it!

Wow! I went here today to celebrate a special person's birthday. We had a fromagemass burger and it was truly sensational. The meat was juicy, very tasty, and perfectly cooked. The added layers of various cheeses were a touch of real classy luxury. Everything was perfect, right down to the aioli and smoked tomato sauces, and the cheese and bacon chips. As for the oriole freak shake, that is definitely not for the faint hearted, and truly delicious. the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A completely satisfying experience and excellent value for money.

Great hamburgers a bit more expensive than the competitors in the area but totally worth a try. Very good fries and courgettes. Extremely good service at the table. Have fun spotting all the hidden cows in the place!

Me and my partner had a great experience at the Byron and were upset to hear the Glasgow location is closing! In all fairness, our dinner started questionably - despite our order was taken quickly, the food took a while, hence my partner had almost finished his enormous milkshake (which by the way was not only huge, but also divine in taste and incorporated at least 5 full size Reeces) by the time his burger arrived. When the burger finally arrived, we were disappointed it was rather cold, the cheese had hardened and the cheese sauce wasnt pouring out freely. BUT! As soon as we informed the waiter about our concern, he immediately ordered a new burger on the house and this time it was spectacular! Just like in the facebook ad, the burger was the cheesiest thing ever, the cheese sauce was pouring like the ambrosia it is, it was the perfect balance between different cheese tastes. I ordered a cobb salad, which was perfect, the ingredients were fresh, evenly cut and in an ideal proportion. We also ordered mac and cheese as a starter, but couldn't finish it because: 1) the mains were too good and too big, and 2)it was a bir too spicy for us. By the time we asked for the bill we had forgotten about the initial disappointment, we were as happy as a formagiasts gets, but the best was yet to come - our entire bill was less than £15, as the staff had taken the whole burger meal out of the total. Best pre-Christmas dinner ever!

There are so many high end burger venues in Glasgow now, but Byron is different. The welcome you get is brilliant, the floor team sit with you to take your order and give you the bill, it makes you feel like you are at home and have a real connection with the brand. The food is amazing, you can't go wrong with any of the burgers, give the iceberg wedge a try on the side, it's life changing.
