One of my go to takeaways in Glasgow. They do the best salt and chilli chips in town! They're crispy and in batter almost. Haven't tried better anywhere. The rest of the food is pretty damn good too!

This place has a lot of buzz. It’s quite efficient and food is fast. However the prices surprised us. We paid £5.30 for a portion of salt and chilli chips. And noodles with a ‘curry’ cost £9.40. Which did feel a bit pricey for the ‘fast food’ you’re paying for. Can’t deny it is very tasty.
The best priced item on the menu is the salmon set £17. Absolutely amazing.
Wish prices were more affordable.

Absolutely loved the food. And we place orders using their website even if we are dining in, so minimal interaction with people. The atmosphere of the restaurant was classy. The place was almost full when I went there and everybody seemed to enjoy the food. Once again I have to say that I really loved the food. Delicious!

Was here for a late lunch with my partner recently. The trendy atmosphere appears to be Yippon's biggest selling point. Offers online order even if you dine in, reducing need for interaction with staff members. I liked the choices on the menu - East Asian fusion leaning towards a Japanese focus. Food is nice albeit a bit pricey for what you get.
If you do interact with the staff, the customer service may vary significantly - when I asked if any soya sauce and wasabi came with the sushi set I ordered, the first staff member barely looked at me with a blank expression then walked off without saying anything. Had to repeat my question to another who witnessed this, approached me, and responded in a friendly way.

In only one word I would use "Excellent". Customer service is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and know their business. In terms of food, everything we had was fantastic. Excellent experience. Highly recommended. Also want to add the food is halal.

The thought of Yippon brings me to drool. This is hands down one of my favourite take aways in Glasgow and their Salt and Chilli chips are a different class.

Had lunch here today for the first time. I would highly recommend to anyone to try as the food was very tasty, fresh and yet again, delicious! the staff was friendly and the service was spot on. Sat at the table and ordered through the QR code. The place itself is very clean aswell. Thank you, will be back soon :) I didn’t take any pictures of the food as it looked too tasty so I just dived in 🤣

I needed a quick lunch and fancied sushi and found this nearby to where I was staying. I was able to order very easily using their online system and pick up around 15 minutes after I ordered which was lovely and convenient.
Their menu is really varied and there are loads of veggie/vegan options, so the biggest challenge was choosing! I had the crispy avocado maki, tofu bao buns and yasai gyoza. It was all absolutely lovely and full of flavour. If I had a slight problem it was that it was very spicy - but didn't take away from my enjoyment of the food.
The staff were so friendly when I went to pick up. It looked like a pleasant place to sit in and eat too.
The prices are perhaps a little on the expensive side - I spent just over £20 - but I thought it was well worth it.

Great little sushi place that saved us from becoming famished while exploring Glasgow. We sat at the elbow bar and enjoyed some people watching while eating some good sushi and excellent boba tea. The pot stickers were good too!

Came here for lunch with some work pals. Wanted to try it out as we had heard good things. We were not disappointed. The portions are plenty big enough! Service was quick, either at the desk or ordering on your phone. There were 8 of us and we all were served our food within 15 minutes. Absolutely worth every penny! Can recommend the honey chilli chicken!

The place is spacious, cleaned and well kept, the staff attentive and quick. The food was really good and they have a vast Japanese menu to choose from...even Buble Tea! Definitely recommend it!

Have heard great things about Yippon and finally got to try it - was not disappointed! From ordering to food arriving was so quick!
I went for salt and pepper chips, Katsu chicken curry and spicy chicken Katsu sushi - all tasted brilliantly. So many other things I wanted to try on the menu, looking forward to going back again soon! 👌🏽

The crepe cake taste as good as it looked! Highly recommend the lavender flavored one!
Got the spicy salmon and avocado poke bowl and the katzu curry over noodle. The poke was good but felt it was misleading by the name and the presentation in the sense that the avocado was very very small in total quantity but they filled it in with cucumber, which from outside the cover it looked like chucks of avocado. Salmon the same thing, used tomato piece made the illusion of more salmon than it actually has. Otherwise, it has really good sushi rice.
The katzu was very good. But the noodle I wasn’t wild about it.
FYI try to go before 12:30 as afterward the line can be pretty long.
