I havnt ordered food because you need to have a table number and we don't get a table for an hour or so as it's already packed. Once you've had a few drinks the atmosphere takes your mind off the food anyway 😊

The quietest i have ever seen this bar. Only a handful of people actually in it. Used to be rammed and an excellent wee bar. Still good service and lots of drinks just needs some more customers.

I had a fantastic experience at the pub. The goijons, wings, and squid were all exceptionally delicious. Tom, our server, was a true professional – wonderful and friendly. When we visit Scotland again, we will definitely come back to this place.

Group of 4 Aussies had the best morning and afternoon at the Maltman - Friday 15 September 2023. My birthday and my AFL Team, the Carlton Blues defeated Melbourne Demons, to progress to next week's elimination finals against Brisbane Lions. The staff couldn't have accommodated us anymore with their professional and friendly service.

Stopped here for a couple of pints today. The bar tender was super courteous and we had a really good time. We didn't have any food, but what we saw being served looked really good.

Went in for the Scotland game last night and the service was amazing, there was a young lad called Finlay who made sure me and my mates were sound throughout the night and was very chatty and a all around good bloke.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had a steak cooked to perfection, and the wife had an outstanding burger, really excellent value for money. Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. First time visit, will definitely be back
