Surprised with what this cafe has to offer. The food is varied and not the usual fare.
I had hummus with kale, garlic sautéed mushrooms and cracked black pepper in a panini, absolutely delicious. There is also a varied selection of home baked cakes.
The staff could not do enough for you, very friendly
Highly recommend this cafe, completely worth the effort of walking to.

I very much loved the cappuccino I was served this afternoon by the lady with blonde hair and blue eyes( sorry I don’t know her name 😀) but, with the top covered with cinnamon, it tasted heavenly. Thanks a million! Will definitely come back!

I've been popping into Tisco a couple of times each year on my way for trips. Each time I've shopped here I've stopped for a bite to eat in the cafe upstairs.Normally I wouldn't comment. However I've always found the food home cooked and fill the gap, whilst only a limited menu clearly they believe in doing it well.
Why comment now?
Well I've just found the service to be excellent, attentive, helpfull and generally welcoming which components the food perfectly.

What a fab wee place😊. The food is fresh and healthy and tastes great. Menu includes many salads ciabata or toasties, soups are nice too. Everything is fresh and the service is impeccable. The manager is great, I don't know how she manages to stay so cheery throughout the day but she does😁.
Thoroughly recommend for a tasty lunch at a very reasonable price or just a coffee and (very nice) cake.
