Great experience at the tickled trout. Staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. We were served by Rachel and Sophie who were very attentive and friendly, I could not fault them. The bar staff, particularly a tall younger guy (cannot remember his name) were very helpful. The food was perfect for after a busy day of walking would definitely recommend.

We visited on a Monday evening. Our waitresses were delightful and so helpful. I had a steak and my partner had lamb. The food was delicious. Really well-cooked and presented. We shared a Bannoffee pie for dessert and then I had a Passion Fruit Martini cocktail.Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone!

Great, local country pub with a fantastic atmosphere and cosy feeling thanks to a roaring fire. Rachael who served us was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place and especially the chicken Schnitzel.

Almost stumbled upon this place but definitely a great find. Service was excellent. All staff had smiles , were friendly and very cheery. Everything you want. Food was excellent with very generous proportions. Only niggle for me was the toilets needed "attention" both the easy access downstairs and the gents upstairs.

We were a family group of 8 and also a young dog, and our table and seating could not have been better. The service was excellent and staff were always very pleasant and attentive. 6 of us had the 2 course lunch which was excellent value and was enjoyed by all of us. Well cooked and presented. The other 2 A la carte meals were also very good.

Delicious food. We go because they're dog-friendly, and they don't mind people, either :) It's a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and I recommend it without qualms. They have a good selection on the menu, although a little on the pricey side for pub grub, and we wish they had more menu options not involving bacon, ham, piggy products.

We went for father's day and our experience was great. Great parking which is convenient, and despite being a very busy day, the service was excellent. We were never left waiting and the food was quick. The food was delicious, one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time. We were served by Jennifer who was lovely and always around if we needed something. Would definitely return 😊

Brilliant setting, menu is excellent, wide range suiting most tastes. Staff incredibly helpful and attentive, really took care of clientele from start to finish. Only restaurant I have visited where the question was asked regarding allergies etc.
