My 84 year old mother made us go out of our way, driven across the city, to go to Buoun Appetito for coffee/breakfast, because the staff are "always so nice" to her. Liz welcomed us with cheery words and good food. Thank you Buoun Appetito for looking after my Mum so well.

Usually visit here for a quick lunch when in Rutherglen and today was no exception.
I was with my aunt, and we went in feeling wet and miserable and came out feeling really cheered up. I don’t know how the staff remember so many customers, but the atmosphere is very friendly, the tables are spotless and the food is really enjoyable and excellent value. The number of regular customers certainly confirms this.

This is a friendly wee cafe with wonderful staff, especially Carol. She's always very friendly, helpful and always has a smile and a blether for everyone. She's truly an asset to the cafe and theres alwaya a warm welcome from her. Lovely lady.

Love going here, good simple home cooked food. The staff are always cheery, helpful and friendly. The portions are generous and good priced. Go here almost everytime we're in Rutherglen. Go, try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

One of Rutherglen's hidden gems, fantastic food, definitely a must. Parking 50p for two hours. Reasonably priced, fantastic lunch. My new favourite place, wholesome food

Great place. Great service. Sometimes go there for my "Cheat" breakfast. Good all round!! Oh and the hand cut chips take some beating!!!! You also get all the Rutherglen banter too!!!

Food is pretty good and generous sized portions but prices are steep compared to most cafes. You'll get a nice lunch but not a cheap one.

This place is the best greasy spoon (that I have found so far) in Scotland. The staff is always friendly and funny, the place is very clean, and the food is just what my gran would offer me on a Sunday visit. Chips are always perfect, and the apple pie is amazing, especially when is just out from the ove. I can't recommend it enough.
