Dobbies Garden Centre Braehead

I spoke to Alison ( the Cashier/customer adviser) she gave me great advice. I've been trying to get through to head office with a query and couldn't speak to anyone. Alison answered my query. I've been asked if I would consider hosting birthday parties for dogs. I enjoyed my lunch in Dobbies Garden centre. I had a baked potato with cheese. I like the Halloween display.

The reason l didn't give a 5⭐is because, I had tea & a piece of Biscoff cheesecake & unfortunately the cheesecake looked so much nicer than it tasted. The cheesecake part was very grainy & to be honest didn't taste of much more than cheese, so needless to say l didn't eat it all! I'd like to think it was just a bad choice on my part & that all the other sweet treats were nice. I bought some plants that were in good condition, which was nice to see, because in some garden centres they can sometimes be very dry & in need a of a good water. The toilets were clean & well looked after. All in all a nice Dobbies to visit.

Pressed 5 Stars then was distracted to something else before writing description. Didn't realise that Google would post as was, so will now write. It's the staff that make the place the way it is. Have contacted Head Office a number of times to give them feedback about individual staff members. Did this yesterday about a member but then thought should actually be saying about the 'good' publicly.

Great sandwiches and soups. Filling is definitely not skimped on. As a result, suggest it's the pricer end of the scale though, so beware if on a budget. The staff can be slow to clear away the tables, so it can look a bit low end. Dog friendly though. Although bright and airy with plenty of seats, the windows could do with a clean inside and out.

Dobbies Garden Centre was very warm in welcoming. the food they were served at the cafeteria was great. Staff were very helpful and smiling. Me and my partner took the children to visit the Santa who was great and very authentic. He and his elves seem to have a lot of time for the children to talk it wasn't a quick affair. Excellent toys from Santa is well not just your Poundland rubbish.
