Ordered special fish n chips for the first time according to 4.5 star rating given .. have to say best fish n chips I've had in 7weeks of being in Glasgow .. fresh, hot and big serve.

I got the cheese burger meal tonight and thought it would be just another fast food bland frozen burger. This is far from it; everything is so fresh, ingredients and a real store made burger, not some frozen pre-made guff get from other places.
I will defo be back for this and other things on menu 👌 great deal with 2 burgers and chips for £12
I order from here every week and felt its time to share why I am a regular customer. The food is always outstanding, fresh and tasty. Not once have I ever had anything to moan about from this place. One of my favourites from the menu is milanese chicken burger and the individual munchies boxes. Pasta and pizzas are amazing too, the food is just outstanding, great customer service, always fast aswell. Best place in Tollcross in my opinion 👌
Delicious fish supper. Fish succulent and generous portion which I needed as I was starving. Well presented in box and paper bag. Definitely be back.

We got 3 Special Fish Suppers tonight and all 3 of us were very disappointed. We were recommended to try Captains Kitchen but it was one of the worse fish suppers we have tried. One was very dark in colour and the other 2 were very pale in colour. The chips have been one of the worst I've had. The food did not stay hot for long. After 2-3 mouth fulls it was cold. No taste to the fish. Both fish and chips taste of cooking oil. Very over priced for the quality of the food. I spent over £40 and was expecting great food. I won't be getting anything from them again. I'm not sure if they had a off day today. Going by the comments on their website a lot of people rate them very highly.

Ordered 2 Sunday roasts delivery was fast the amount of food you get for the money is amazing &come in great big containers,tasted absolutely amazing ,defo be a regular here on a Sunday from now on

As a regular customer I find Captains Kitchen a cut above your average Chippy, in terms of its products and the helpfulness of the staff. It offers not only a wide selection of traditional Chippy favourites but an extensive menu of Italian pizza and pasta dishes, which are second to none in terms of authenticity. Definitely worth ‘Cinquo’ stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Good food but service now slow since covid they have failed to remove the table resulting in a much loner waiting time during a busy period
