Great sized venue, much bigger than I thought. Nice long bar and plenty of staff serving. Easy entrance, ticket and bag checks. Still room to move about if you wanted closer to the front of the crowd. I'm pretty sure I also saw staff giving out water to those right at the front, which was a nice touch. Fairly easy to find - just expect a long walk or cab if you are coming from town. Hope there are more shows that catch my eye soon.
Awesome atmosphere, very industrial underground vibe. Came here to see Lauren Mayberry's first solo show in her hometown, and the venue was perfect. Acoustics were great, bar & bar staff were fantastic. Bathrooms were clean. We were in the TV Studio area.
Went here for an ABBA night and loved it. Good venue, decent bars and lovely staff. Cool location too. Perfect for a good dance and night out. Overall a great night. Will be checking out more nights and events on here
Brilliant venues all around.
- Galvanisers Yard is a massive outdoor, festival-style stage with a huge capacity. Perfect for the festival atmosphere and sound while remaining a closed off, outdoor venue.
- The Warehouse is a perfect example of a large scale indoor stage, again with large capacity.
- The TV Studio isn't a venue I've been to personally but I've heard very fond things about it.
- I've visited the Poetry Club several times and every time it blows me away: the perfect grassroots artist stage.
Drinks are very expensive within the venue at all events, though you come to expect that.
Exhibition Centre and Partick railway stations are both very close by, approx 10-15min walk from the venue's main entrance and events at SWG3 tend to finish early enough that you can catch a train.
Can only dock one star for sometimes unclear information, and the drink prices comparative to other venues. Otherwise, a stellar venue.
Staff here are super lovely, I had an accessible ticket for Coheed and they have a specific accessible platform and queue. The accessible queue is a LIFESAVER, I've been to a few venues where we are told to just queue with everyone else and it makes enjoying the gig itself really difficult because I'm already sore and tired by the time we get in from all the standing.
The only downside I will say with galvanizers is that the platform isn't very high, and it's right at the back - so you struggle to actually see anything if you are up there. I ended up giving up and going to the general standing area in the end.
Fantastic industrial space now utilised for premium events and gigs. It’s close to the west end and in a secluded, safe area with good accessibility for all. Bar areas are well staffed, it’s clean and has strong security measures and fairly priced for drinks. Sound quality was fantastic and the space in Galvanisers yard allowed everyone to enjoy the gig in comfort. A really fabulous venue
First time at this venue for Lo Moon and Metric gig, small by most standards but big enough for an atmosphere to make it feel like a proper concert. Easy access through security at start, didn’t have to queue too long despite a fairly full hall. Facilities were also very clean and there was even staff in the loos giving out soap and paper towels.
A fantastic venue that never disappoints. Everything takes place in this stunningly designed building. They have great clean and well kept toilet facilities which are regularly cleaned and restocked. The staff are always friendly and there to help.
You cannot fault the events held here.
The only criticism is there needs a better IPA selection!
This is such a cool place for concerts. Been here twice already and loved it both times. A bit harder to get to but worth it.
Attended for Yardworks festival. Nice bit of space for the artists. Went back after the festival to view the art without a crowd of people. Hopefully go to a show in the future!
