Went here for the first time on Saturday. Booked a booth which was free and was told that a bottle of absolute vodka was £60 including mixers. Got there and they werent doing this anymore and the cheapest bottle of vodka was 120. We paid for two bottles at the booth only to have a girl come up to the booth and start throwing everything about. Seats where soaked. Nothing was done about it. Then only about 5 minutes later a man started jumping up on our table with his top off and again nothing was done about it. And to top the night off 2 fights broke out on the middle of the dancefloor. Wont be back. Never felt so on edge on a night out in my life.

An absolute waste of £5. Place was an absolute dive. Had to clean our own tables and waited ages to be served at an empty bar despite at least seven members of staff stood behind the bar doing nothing. From 11pm onwards the place got emptier and emptier. Their club 'stamp' was literally a 'B' written in biro, they refused to take card and the floors felt like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Frankly, without new management this place is going out of business.

I read a couple reviews online before I went and I must say all the bad ones are so right! Bar is sticky, floor is sticky and if they're not sticky they're soaking wet. Bar staff are ignorant, cheeky and lazy, toilets are disgusting and mobbed. Security guards are idiots who don't follow their SIA guidelines chucked one of my family members out cause they thought they came in through the "backdoor" even though we were there since 8pm at a reserved table! I wouldn't even waste your time in here, better off going to Wetherspoons across the road lol

Loved the atmosphere could have spent the whole night in the bar of it wasn't for one member of staff who told us our table was reserved from 9.30 after ignoring us at the bar to speak to her friend instead. And when we said there was no notice of reservation we were told weather there was a notice or not we would have to level. Totally disappointed in the service won't be back thanks to your unhelpful member of staff. We were happy to move but she told us with a stinking attitude we would have to leave weather or not the table was signed as reserved!!

Have to pay to get in on a night out. A bit of a dive but drinks are cheap. Security guy was very nice and helped my friend find his coat. Starts to empty as people move on to clubs.

ENTER BAR BUDDA AT YOUR PERIL!
I was in Bar Budda on Saturday 6/08/2016, my daughter and I went for a few drinks after a lovely meal at a nearby restaurant and the bar wasn’t busy, however the music was playing and the small crowd seemed merry. Into our second drink a young lady who was at the far end of the bar towards the toilets appeared to suffer from what I could only describe as an epileptic seizure and collapsed to the floor shaking and making involuntary jerking movements.
The music was turned off and some staff and customers came to her aid and put her in the recovery position, a female appeared who I believe was a member of the security team within the bar, she very loudly stated that the customer who was on the floor having a fit was in her words “AT IT” stating that there was nothing wrong and the girl was faking it! I must hazard a guess and say the female member of the security team must be a qualified doctor or at least have extensive medical training to give that diagnosis. While all this was going on the bar decided to put the music back on as the girl lay on the floor and continued to have what appeared to be an epileptic fit.
The girl eventually came round and got up off the floor and was challenged by the security staff for her behaviour (having a fit) an argument started between them as the female security person was very confrontational and aggressive she started pushing the customer across the floor towards the front door as she clearly wanted the girl out of the bar.
I challenged the manager on what I had just witnessed, however. He just said he was dealing with it, he wasn’t dealing with anything and he appeared to be hiding behind his staff. An ambulance arrived, however the girl had already been ejected from the bar and the police appeared, they started taking statements from the paramedics and I approached them and stated I wanted to make a statement of what I saw as it was absolutely shocking.
As I stood outside waiting to speak with the police a doorman from budda came outside and became very hostile towards me and verging on aggressive asking to my surprise, why I was looking at him and in his words “growling at him” he started walking towards me as I was standing on the curb. A police officer told him to be quite and go inside the pub and stand.
I eventually gave my statement to the police and went back inside budda, I asked for the manager as I wanted contact details for the bars head office so I could register a complaint and was told he wouldn’t speak to me and was handed a piece of paper with a phone number. The number is for bar budda, the bar that I want to complain about, I assume the manager wants me to complain about his bar to him. Really?
I was approached by 3 members of the security team and told I and my daughter must leave the bar. Clearly that was our intentions, however to be surrounded and told you must leave in a threatening manner is very unsettling, somewhat intimidating.
What we witnessed was truly disgraceful and distressing behaviour from the staff, in particular the security staff at bar budda.
Overall it was an extremely unpleasant evening in bar budda, especially for the young lady who appeared to be having a seizure and then was violently ejected onto the street by the door staff. AVIOD

When you enter Bar Budda and pay your £5, you may not notice how the ground suddenly lowers you to one floor above Hell.
Key features that are complimentary with the £5 include:
- incompetent bar staff
- no card payments (yes, it is 2018)
- a strange stickiness to every surface (and I mean EVERY surface)
- teenage boys (which could explain the stickiness)
- moronic dance music blasting from every corner
- someone in the toilet trying to sell you aftershave by the squirt
- out of focus televisions with no sound which add a certain level of pathos to even the grandest of sporting occassions
Please note, this is a bar that takes great pride in the fact they once paid Jordan to stand in the DJ booth and have her picture taken. That's the level you're dealing with.

Pile of crap bar useless staff (waiting 5 minutes at empty bar whilst staff open boxes), sticky floors and tables, and no card payments. Just save yourself the £5 entry and go somewhere else. Fingers crossed place closes down.
