SAD TO SAY THIS PLACE NOW LOOKS CLOSED PERMANENTLY. SHAME. So, this restaurant has had a revamp lately. Was previously known as Panevino. New decor makes the room brighter and a little bit cafe'ish. For a romantic meal the room is too bright and they could do with turning the lights down. They previously had a bar which you could sit at and actually have your meal. I loved doing this, but now it is gone. Shame. One upshot of the rebirth is that prices have gone up a little. Still reasonable value for money but nonetheless; guess the customer is paying for the refurb. The chefs here are excellent and have been retained so the quality of food remains high. Also, the menu has had a shake-up and they now specifically cater to Vegans and Veggies which is a good thing. And.... a mention to the waiting staff who are always brilliant. All in all still a solid modern italian restaurant which serves good food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Nice place and tasty food but my portion of Tortelli verdi was a bit small for a main. The lasagne came boiling hot and burned my mouth. The service wasn't attentive enough, I wanted to order more food and beers but staff never came back to table so we gave up. I'd maybe go back as the food was nice, but would hope that service improves
