Huge shout out to Pickled Ginger for hosting my birthday ‘party’ after a last minute let down by another venue. Myself and my partner have always had great times here and in hindsight should have booked here from the outset. We were welcomed in with open arms into a very cheery and warm environment. The playlist was absolutely immaculate in the background but we were able to have an intimate catch up with all of the party in our nice secluded booth. Everyone’s orders were executed perfectly and all tastes were catered to. The food was just superb as always; piping hot, delicious and did not have to wait long at all. We are looking forward to making this a more frequent meet-up venue and are grateful for the kind hospitality we received last night.

If you like Japanese you'll love Pickled Ginger! Absolutely superb food, great sized portions, and definitely try the banana tempura for pudding - yum! Staff were super friendly and helpful, too. Can't ask for more. I'll definitely be going back whenever I'm in Glasgow (which might be more often now I know how good the food here is!).
