Been here a couple times now and safe to say the food is amazing and the service has always been fab, however can't give a 5 star review as messages to this business always go unanswered. Tried to contact them twice through Instagram and via email about reserving a table/if they were taking walk ins and also a third time to inform them I'd had an allergic reaction to a dish when I had dined there. Still never received any response to any message. Very disappointing.
There is nothing negative that could possibly be said about this place.
I’ve had almost every dish on the menu and they are all absolutely superb. Coffee is also excellent. And it’s all so affordable I can actually come here twice a week.
Staff have never been anything but the most pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
Many COVID precautions in place.
Seriously this place is astounding. I am shocked they’re not more busy but also I like that I can always get a table there so give them all of your business but leave room for me <3

Had a really excellent meal here. Service was very friendly. Nice decor and good choice of music. As neither a vegan nor even a vegetarian, I have to say I was really impressed with the food. Rather than sad attempts to disguise vegetables as meat, dishes are designed from the ground up to celebrate and make the most of plant ingredients, and are all the better for it. Everything was fresh, flavourful and filling.
As an added benefit, they did a great job of catering to a Coeliac dietary requirement: staff were well informed and it was clear that good processes were in place to avoid any cross-contamination. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who needs to avoid gluten in their diet. Making vegan gluten-free food palatable, let alone delicious, is a tough ask: Root Candy absolutely nail it.
Strongly recommended to anyone regardless of dietary preferences or requirements; for those who do have such requirements, a rare gem. We will be back!
Stopped for a pint been meaning to come for ages! The service was amazing, so nice and warm and friendly. Ordered a couple of starters and they were incredible! The kale pakora is a revelation! We will definitely be regulars from now on.
I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have got amazing meals each time.
I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but their food is great, regardless.
The KFC burger is a standout.
Had a lovely time the staff was nice and accommodating with requests. The decor of the restaurant was pretty nice and interesting. I quite love the pea gnocchi especially the sauce along with it was lovely.
Always a lovely welcome by Lisa and her Mum. I take my clients in also and they are made to feel very welcome. Coffee and cakes lovely. I would highly recommend it....
Amazing food. A definite must visit. Fabulous decor, lovely staff and the mushroom risotto is to die for...as is the root candy cocktail and the tempura broccoli.
Lovely quirky restaurant which my friend and I visited today ..food was delicious with a varied menu..very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would recommend..
