The Restaurant No.2

Recently visited for lunch with the family. This was the first time returning since it was Cutfish. I have noticed improvements - the staff were lovely and attentive, there was someone there to greet us on arrival and the food was nice. We opted for the 2 course market menu (£16). I had the prawn cocktail and chicken milanese which was all really tasty. My husband had the chicken yakitori skewers and the steak frites (£6.00 supp) the steak was cooked beautifully although the chicken yakitori came and they were 2 tiny skewers which I thought there should have been at least 3 considering the size of them. 4 stars as we did wait a while for the food, however I look forward to continue being a customer here as long as the improvements remain. Have seen this restaurant when driving through Bothwell, and thought we'd try it for dinner. Think it used to be Da Luciano. Overall, we enjoyed it. I've seen some people saying service was slow, but it was fine for us. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. Think her name was Kate. Food was tasty, but maybe a bit to expensive. But it is Bothwell I suppose. It's nice to have somwwhere local which does fish. Will be back.
