I live just round the corner and it’s been lovely seeing this small business grow! The staff are super friendly and there’s a great selection of drinks, snacks and food. They also have an option to order in advance for pick up which is great when you’re in a hurry. x

The only downside to today's superb New Yorker toasted sandwich is that my wife nicked half of it without me knowing!! Delicious food with quality ingredients and proper coffee made well. At a different level to the same old stuff from chain cafes. A must stop when in that part of town!!

OMG the pies. I may develop an addiction to the steak pie. It's a nice straight forward cafe and take away menu. It all looks good but I will probably just keep ordering steak pies. (The carrot cake was good too).

We broke down yesterday on the motorway and got towed by the police to Wallace Street around the corner....and while waiting for Volvo assist, went for a walk to find something to eat... stumbled on this place totally by chance. So glad we did, I had the stew, potatoes and peas and my wife had a cheese and ham toastie . Absolutely brilliant, lovely little shop and friendly happy staff...great prices for what we had and food was top notch. Already planning to go back, even though it's a bit out the way for us. Made a difficult day bearable. Thank you.

Lockdown blues are definitely eased with finding this hidden gem! Have not had a sugar donut as fresh or delicious as theirs ever! Staff are brilliant, always smiling and chatty. The owner is down to earth and on site. Cannot recommend this place enough for food, coffee and especially their freshly baked goods which are out of this world! Would give 10 stars if possible!

Been visiting here regularly now the last few weeks and have to say just love it. The selection of pies and cakes is just what the area needed. Love popping by for a coffee and the great quick service. Safe to say I'm a new regular here. Burgers on a Friday to die for. Can't recommend higjlybenougb and so so affordable. Highly recommend if you are in the area

I called into Mulkanwan yesterday afternoon with my son Ben, we had really good coffees and cake, but the star of the show was the takeaway Meatballs and mash! It was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great wee place, a breath of fresh air on the south side of the river. Fresh, homemade food made daily. Nice coffee also. Handy online menu for ordering in advance of collection.
