I had moved to Glasgow for a bit and it was my first time living away from home and my mom’s cooking. Coming from a South-East Asian background, food and specifically the usage and combinations of spices means a lot to me and that’s why I find a lot of comfort when I go to Rickshaw and Co.
Every visit to Rickshaw (I’ve lost count by now) has me satisfied, smiling and a full happy belly. Also, I really like how they allow us to customize the spice level so it can really hit the spot and cure my ‘homesickness’ for my mom’s cooking.
The staff and manager are sooo pleasant and friendly to engage with. I go so often, I lowkey consider some of the staff as my friends lol. They make really fun drinks and the ambience in general is very wholesome. The decor is to die for and you can really tell the amount of effort the Rickshaw team has put into this restaurant.
The best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in Glasgow!!✨

Visited this place for a quick lunch with kids on a Sunday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
We ordered Prawns Koliwada, Delhi Chicken Curry, Black Dal and Garlic naan. The food was delicious and the spice levels were apt for everything we ordered. The food was also not very oily as compared to other joints on Glasgow. The service was quick which helped in keeping the kids happy. We also had nimboo paani which was very refreshing.
The price was reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this place - 5/5.

Had a delicious dinner here. Paneer curry and okra fries were amazing and the cocktails were great. Reasonably priced and big portions. Great veggie options. Staff were very friendly.

Favourite place to eat in Glasgow - I travel over a few times a year from Belfast and always make a point of coming here. The food is top tier and the cocktails are lovely too - my favourite Indian restaurant for sure. Have to mention the wonderful decor too, it looks like something out of Interior Design Masters so it's just a really nice atmosphere inside as well. Last but not least, the staff are really friendly and attentive! Wish I had photos to add of the food but taking nice pics is the last thing on my mind when they bring it out - highly recommend

Really nice sit in option worth a visit, downstairs seating area was very pleasant. Great dishes, but do be warned they're tapas size, so means the price point a bit higher. But look out for deals on 5pm etc. Kids are very welcome.

My partner and I visited from Chicago and had dinner here our first night and were blown away. I’ve had a lot of good Indian food, but this is the best I’ve ever had! The flavors, spice level, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. The menu explains each item and tells you the story behind it, which helps you expand your horizons and try new things if you’re not familiar with a dish. PLUS they partner with a food pantry organization in Scotland. What an amazing restaurant! I’ll be recommending this place to anyone visiting Glasgow!
