Great food and high value for your money. They consider your allergies seriously and prepare the food especially for you. The waitress was very friendly and supportive to find a proper dish. The American burger I had was very good and completely dairy free. We sat directly at the window and it was pretty warm, but with nice view on the road.

We had a fantastic dining experience at the Fat Hippo restaurant, and I must say that our server, Lucy, played a significant role in making it memorable. The food we ordered, including the Trickle, Born Slippy, and American Burger, was delicious. Lucy's attentive and friendly service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. Her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Fat Hippo and commend Lucy for her exceptional service!

This was definitely one of the top 3 best burgers I've had in Glasgow. The dirty fries were great too. The portion size is huge - I couldn't finish it even though I was starving before walking in and I pretty much always eat everything I order. If you've got a huge appetite then you might have more success than me, but I would've been happy with half my portion so you might even be able to share a portion between 2 people. The service was very friendly and the prices were right so we'll definitely be back.

We went in on Saturday for lunch. Was shown a table with plenty of space for my guide dog Wee Skye. She was happily chilled on floor next to me The beer battered cheese balls were amazing , I could have just filled up on those. We shared these before our burgers. I had the classic American. Was delicious, I’m not big on chips so opted for the purple slaw. I couldn’t quite finish my burger , was deceptively big. But I enjoyed every mouthful. My friend had the big white buffalo. I was going to get this but realised it was thigh so wasn’t sure. She also picked the hand cut chips with dirty fries. She enjoyed it all. All in all a very enjoyable lunch , will definitely be back. Definitely want more of the cheese balls 😋

Visited on a Sunday evening with friends, place was busy but not mobbed, and the atmosphere and music were good. Food is DELICIOUS! We didn't have a single negative to say about any of our choices. Friendly warning: The onion rings are MASSIVE! But are also one of the best things I've ever eaten. Lucy our server was lovely, and very good at helping my decision making due to allergies. We will 100% be back!

It was a enjoyable experience. The Born Slippy Burger and tater tots were delicious, I would definitely recommend them. They welcome walk-ins, which adds to the convenience

Great lunch! Service was speedy, burger was great and really enjoyed the onion rings. The place is immaculate - really nicely decorated and kept really clean. The booth we were in was too narrow, so the two of us couldn’t sit opposite each other because there wasn’t room for our knees…but comfy otherwise. The only negatives were that the fries felt a bit undercooked and the wedge salad was overpriced for what it was, but otherwise a decent lunch and I’d come back.

Pure filth! But in the best way! Tried this place out for the first time and it was great. The sides and starters are tasty AF and the burgers are loaded with so many options it's hard to pick! The Freddie's fingers and frickles are brilliant! Make sure you load up on sauces as well.

AMAZING!!! I had the doughnut burger and not only was it the best doughnut burger ai have ever had, it was the best burger I have ever had, bar none. The tater tots were delicious, too. The service was fantastic. Polite and timely service, we didn't feel rushed. I will definitely return here.

New burger place. Food is good and very quick which is great if you are in a rush. Service is also very good. They have a lot of vegan options which is great. For lunch a bit on the expensive side. For dinner ideal but alert from the few window booths I am not a fan of the seating. Wooden chairs are small and not very comfortable. Also can get a bit chilly especially when sitting in the middle . Burgers are good and as a bonus some of it is halal (chicken). But do ask in case this changes.
