Ben & Jerry's

The staff was great super sweet and kind, however the ice cream was not so kind. I have a dairy allergy to the point where I am actually allergic to milk not just the lactose enzyme. Therefore I am always hesitant about getting ice cream out and about. I ordered a flavor off the dairy free menu (or so I thought) it was not after three bites I was sick immediately and ended up very ill the rest of my evening. I am unsure if the flavors were placed in the wrong area or if the tags just didn’t match the flavors but regardless it was a bad rest of the night especially with an hour drive back home. The staff was great. But I am disappointed and in pain. Please do better next time.

Went and picked up an ice cream cake for my birthday. Limited selections and sizes as they were all setting in back. Was told that all of the cakes have a layer of the cookie crumbs in them. Also asked to “spice it up” due to the cake not being decorated, and was met with 5 little pieces of oreos/crumbs and sprinkles as decoration. Decided to try a new flavor, cookie dough with a brownie bottom. The whole cake was ice cream with a tiny layer of brown at the bottom and no cookie crumbs like I was told. Not what I was expecting for a $40 cake. I’ll stick to my normal cakes at carvel where I getting what I actually express

I was craving one cream so I ordered for curbside pick-up last night. My order was supposed to be ready by 845pm. I arrived at the establishment at 8:40pm. There were 2 customers inside and it was not busy. I walked in at 8:45pm since my order screen said it was ready and it wasn't. The employee was nice and said he will start the order now at 8:45 when it was supposed to be ready. To add insult to injury he made someone else order. Then rattled off an order that was not mine. Another customer walked and and he assisted that person. He came back and when I told him what I ordered he started making the shake. What he was making didn't look like what I ordered and paid for online. So I pulled up my order and read off what types of ice cream were supposed to be in the shake. The employee proceeded to tell me that wasn't correct and he will make it how I want it, so Ben and Jerry's why is your website different from what the employees know when it comes to making orders. Needless to say I didn't leave until 9:05......definitely won't be back there again.

Bought 2 large waffle cones and 2 medium cones Togo. got home to a supposedly 3 scoop ice cream container which was more like a 1/2 scoop, the 2 scoops for the med were like two tablespoons. They did not filled not even half the cones. I seen someone at the store with a medium cone which was filled and looked adequate, that’s what led me to purchase it. Instead of getting home and fulfilling my craving I was met with a bag of disappointment four waffle cones with an ice cream drizzle at a cost of over $30. Highway robbery!!! NEVER AGAIN! Friendly staff, clean, a little on the expensive side thou. We got 1 pint and 3 small ice creams only 1 had sprinkles and it was about $28. For that price you could go to the grocery store and get double the amount of Ben and Jerry's pint sized ice creams, but if you want to go for a drive and have a friendly experience look no further.

The center of Glastonbury is the place for good clean family fun strolling around on a summer evening with their well groomed dogs. All of the stores allow well behaved dogs and have for years. On this particular evening, I went in with my tiny chihuahua his on a leash intending to buy and go. I also brought several of my daughters friends reuniting as they’re home from college. We were a large hungry, happy group! Until the young lady behind the counter barked at me, no pets allowed. Needless to say, my mouth dropped open, and not to eat ice cream! Everyone in line were also horrified, all dog lovers. Well, I paid and left. Not only were we all offended (there is also no sign on the door) but I got my sundae with hot fudge instead of chocolate syrup, when I specifically asked for chocolate syrup. I believe next time, we will give our business to Sweet Frog across the way.
