Sometimes we are lured away from "proper" garden centres by "bargain" plants at supermarkets/diy stores but a stop at Glendoick recently made me remember why we should be supporting these garden centres. I had a tricky query looking for plants which were suitable for patio pots but were scented at this time of year. It was a tough ask but I spoke to Ken and he came up with a Buddleia Buzz which has a waterfall habit instead of the standard garden Buddleias and the honey scent is amazing. He also suggested Nemesia Wisley Vanilla. I bought both of them and am extremely pleased with them and the excellent customer service.Good advice is priceless. Give this garden centre a whirl...you won't be disappointed.
PS I went back on Sunday and treated myself to gorgeous sage green pots to put my plants in. I thought they would be really expensive for their ceramic pots but they were very affordable. We then had tea and Rose and Pistachio cake in the coffee shop sitting in the sun. What's not to like!

Lovely new cafe area, with fab refreshments.
Wonderful assortment of treasures within the shop to choose from and helpful knowledgeable staff in the plant area.

Glendoick garden centre is always good.
Well laid out. Lovely gift ideas. Good food in the restaurant. Plenty to choose from. Their Christmas shop is stunning. So many things to see.
They have plenty signs to help you keep your distance and hand sanitiser in every department.

Great to find this place open again. We had gluten free fish and chips as well as gluten free cake. Very well set out with easy disabled access. Well done...

Brilliant. The Christmas displays were wonderful and we picked up some great quality decorations. We then went to cafe where I got a brownie. After taking a bite I asked a staff member if the brownie contained nuts. He told the brownie did contain nuts he instead bought me a piece of cake from a completely different display to ensure no cross contamination. Experience was above and beyond.

My wee sister took me here for a treat and I must say that it's the best garden centre I've been in my life, and I've visited many !!! I have recommended Glendoick to many friends and they are definitely going to visit. Brilliant merchandise and lovely staff, will definitely be back. Elaine.🙂

Nice garden centre, full of products that suits everyone. We particularly liked very much the Christmas displays and products on offer. We'll be back for sure..
