Having not been in the inn for a wee while, we decided to pop in to celebrate fathers day with a family meal. The kids (picky eaters) cleared their mains and their bubblegum ice cream with gusto so thumbs up for the sausages and the fish nuggets. My other half ordered steak with peppercorn, which was devoured quicker than our kids with a chocolate bar, and I ordered the Sunday roast. What can I say about the roast... melt in the mouth beef, smothered in the best gravy I've ever had. Fantastically good food, with wonderful staff, we will certainly be back.
Nice meal, friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Don't be put off that there is only one veggie option on the menu-the obligatory risotto, (and I don't do rice!)😱😱 the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Just ask for something else. I spotted a yummy veggie starter and asked if I could have it as a main dish and it was no trouble at all. Plenty of delicious deserts to choose from too (and if you're there before 5pm, they have a scrumptious veggie breakfast option 😁
