The Wee Bistro

This place is an amazing little gem, right in the middle of Glengormley. I took my mum for her birthday and the place was buzzing. Would definitely recommend booking, especially on a Saturday night. We were welcomed by a lady with a massive smile and shown to our table, which was a lovely booth. The restaurant has no alcohol licence, so you can bring your own. They brought us glasses for our wine. The menu wasn't too big so it was easier to make a choice. Both mum and I went for the chicken and bacon stack, which came on a bed of creamy mash and tobacco onions. It had pepper sauce on the side. And it was amazing. Truly amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection 🥰. And it was a good size portion. Mum really enjoyed hers. Her plate was empty in no time. The service was great. The staff didn't over check on us, which I love. There is nothing worse than someone coming over every 5 minutes. The atmosphere was great. And even my mum enjoyed herself. Will definitely be back. Keep up the Good work guys. 5 out of 5

Thirteen of us had breakfast here, and we all had different things from the menu. Very good variety of breakfast items and pretty much every plate was cleaned off. Only complaint was the poached eggs, which I had, as they tasted more like coddled eggs - very hard white and the yolks were very overcooked. They also have gluten free options, which is great to see. The coffee was delicious, everyone commented on it. Very good value and comfortable seats. Service was very good too as my order was missing an item which was very quickly added. Will definitely be back, thank you.

Only just discovered this spot and it feels like such a hidden gem. Staff were really nice, food was great, and the portions very generous. The prices seem reasonable, considering prices everywhere are skyrocketing. I had the loaded fries with beef brisket and pepper sauce and the beef was really nice and tender, with the sauce not being too over powering. Will definitely return.

I first used this restaurant for the breakfast platters on the morning of my daughter's wedding. I was so impressed with the food and helpfulness of the staff that I've since been in 5 times, for both lunch and dinner, with different friends and family members. I have continued to be impressed, as has anyone I've brought with me, with the standard and portions of the food, the atmosphere, and the friendliness of the staff. Brought Dad here today for Father's Day, and although he doesn't drink, he was offered a free Father's Day pint. Thought this was such a lovely touch! Also love that this is a local bistro, run by local people, who have made a real success of it, despite it opening just before Covid. Definitely recommend you give this local bistro a try 😊

My friend and I went here for dinner 🍽 on Friday night absolutely 💯 gorgeous 😍 😋. The staff were 1st class the place is lovely and the atmosphere is great. Absolutely brilliant prices great wee menu from 4-7pm £20 for 3 course's and they were more than adequate. This place is definitely 👍 hard to beat will definitely be back.
