Good value and quick service from this busy cafe. A good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of tables, but this does get busy especially around lunchtime. Staff were efficient and had the food to the table quickly. The cafe is also dog friendly, so handy to grab a bite to eat here after a days walking. Toilets were very clean, but mind your head going in as you will bash it, if you a taller than a child ;)

Just stopped in for lunch. The cream tea was great with a lovely fresh scone and cream. I had the chorizo, cheddar and jalapeño toasty with cold crisp salad and slaw. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Only good things to report! The cafe has disabled access but the toilet is down a couple of steps. I didn't see a designated disabled toilet.

Arrived mid afternoon so not too busy. The three of us were hungry and after a snack. The sandwich menu was great with a good selection. We opted for the bacon, brie and cranberry on honey seeded bread. With a variety of drinks, the fentons apple and rhubarb is like an apple crumble in a bottle. The sandwiches arrived fairly quickly, well presented with coleslaw, crisps and salad. Really tasty brie, well cooked bacon and fantastic bread. The food was tasty and not too expensive, worth the money. Great decor and a relaxing atmosphere. Great place for a snack.

Called for lunch today on our day trip from Leeds. The service was very good & all the toasted sandwiches, soup & cakes we're delicious. They've done it out nicely following the flood 3 years ago. Cheers everyone.

Super delicious coffee, I choose decaf and I really like it. They have also super yummy cakes (vegan as well) and the best ice creams which U can imagine (vegan option was there as well).

Light lunch menu and selection of hot and cold drinks. If you are lucky enough to have a sunny day, you can sit outside and take in the views. Average prices, quick service and tasty range of sandwiches.

After a wet, windy walk up Hellvellyn. I thoroughly enjoyed a surprisingly well presented and enjoyable choc milkshake with a generous size of sweet potato fries 👌🏼 I also appreciated the wall interior about the different types of coffee (and I don’t even drink coffee) Will indeed pop in again! 😊

Popped in for a takeaway coffee today after a visit to the lake and the coffee was amazing and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for coffee lovers. Cakes looked great too
