Had a lovely buffet here tonight. Food was delicious, all staff very friendly and attentive. Narayan was very helpful and so nice. Don’t know why I haven’t been before but will definitely be back!!!

Excellent service 5⭐variety of Currys my favourite South Indian was amazing, the starters to many to choose from love the spicy potatoes and noodles, plenty cakes,fruit and ice cream to end a wonderful experience, they will even make the kids nuggets etc if there fussy little ones, above all loved it

Went here for the first time on Sunday for the buffet and I have to say it didn't disappoint. The selection of dishes was just enough and it was so fresh and tasty. The lamb literally melted in the mouth. I was very impressed. Reasonable price too and great service. Would highly recommend

First visit for the buffet at Rara Tal and was pleasantly surprised. Exceeded my expectations as buffet offerings at times can be quite bland and more often than not have a lot of food reheated from the previous service. I found the majority of the food to be fresh. Some dishes were actually as good as you’ll get sitting in or delivered in the area if not better. I would say this compares to Shimla in East Wemyss which is a good thing. Personal favourites were the pakora and spicy potato appetisers and the lamb karai and garlic chicken mains. Rice was nice and hot along with the nan. Waiter was attentive enough and I noticed he swapped our glass with ice so he just had spotted something so this was a really good sign too. The dessert area needs some work though, definitely had some not so fresh cakes and the fruit looked dry and probably been sitting there all day. Have ice cream!! Overall I’ll still give it 5 stars as for a buffet it does everything you want it to do (except for dessert lol).

I ordered online via their website, the confirmation system doesn't work very well, and with three hours notice it was still 45 minutes late. A wee call or text to confirm would save a lot of uncertainty. However the food was utterly superb, genuinely the best Indian I have had in years. The Korma and chasni were delicious, so full of flavour. The pakora sauce was superb, not to mention the pakora and the bhajji themselves.

This is a little gem if a place. Excellent value for money. There is not a massive choice of dishes in the buffet but there is more than enough for everyone to eat. The South Indian Garlic Chill, Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Bhoona curries were very nice. The rice was fresh. Desserts were basic but I went for the main courses not the ice cream. 👍 Staff were also great.
