Pepino Deli

Been going to Pepino for years. Don’t be put off by plant-based, this place speaks for itself in absolutely stunning food, drinks, staff and service. The favourites being the breakfast wrap and Buddha bowl (as you can see), the most perfect Springtime rose latte (something I’ve never seen anywhere else), and the cakes are delicious too. A little business doing big things!

Edit. Although I have not been back here since. Based on the new response and looking at photos other people have posted since it looks like my original complaint of small portions is no longer an issue. I'll change this review to 5 which is average now from others. Original Not happy about how small my wrap was. I left still very hungry and had to stop at M&S to get some scones. The photo of my meal demonstrates the problem. Even my 11 year old boy was still hungry, having ordered the same dish as I. At least he ate all his salad I guess. Other than the size everything was OK. My son didn't like the sweet chilli in there although I thought it was OK.

The variety of vegan options here is the best thing about this Deli, to have that much choice in a pretty small town is great! It does seem a little expensive but taste wise it is delicious and it's made fresh which does justify it. If you go for the big boxes such as the Korean Seitan and the Asian box you do get a decent portion, however I've had a wrap from here too and that seemed a little on the smaller side so not as good value for money as other options available. Very friendly service!
