Reviews of Nepalese Chef

We have made several visits over the last 6 months and cannot fault this wonderful restaurant. The menu is amazing with many new various dishes to try. The staff are very friendly welcoming as well as giving attentive service. Food is served hot and professionally every time. You feel like you are in a top end London restaurant but paying local standard prices. The food is excellent fresh and very tasty, meat is always good quality. Cannot recommend enough AAA Star.

Ordered chicken byriani, chicken madras, mushroom rice, 2 poppafoms and a garlic naan bread. Food was delicious, huge portions. First time trying them and the best Indian by far that I've tried since moving to Gloucester. Delivery driver very friendly which also helps. Thanks for a lovely takeaway and will definitely ordering again.

As a group of 10 from work, we had our shift Christmas meal here yesterday evening. The parking is abit cramped but there are plenty of side streets so really it's not an issue. The restaurant is clean, warm with a great atmosphere and although it was full there was plenty of room so you never felt cramped. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Facilities were hygienic and easily accessible. Service was prompt with no annoying delays and the plates were hot...... not burning...... but just right ready for the good to be served. Great selection of beverages and the menu was easy to read and understand with guides so you knew how hot n spicy dishes were. The food itself was amazing. Full of flavour, generous servings, very filling and really well cooked. For my first time at Nepalese chef I would highly recommend ..... infact, I would put it this way..... to not go is to miss out on an exceptional culinary experience. 10/10.

We had a dinner party with colleagues from work for a pre-celebration of the Diwali Festival. I have to say it was one of the best nights in my life. We had so much fun. The service, the food and even the cost of it was absolutely incredible. The food comes a little bit spicy depending on what you are ordering, but the portions are big and they keep you full for long time. When one of my colleagues asked me what I think about the food, I’ve simply replied: “I’m in Heaven!”

tried the food from here for the first time today after searching Google to see where is good to eat in gloucester. fair play I'm well impressed, I'd recommend it to anyone and I'd def go there again. the Mrs is fussy and only likes sweet and not spicy curry so they did of a sweet mango curry and she loved it, it's clean and tidy and all the staff and and nice too. after trying to explain to the manager how the Mrs likes her curry he even did us a little sample one of different flavours to the one I ordered for her to try and one of there somosa to try as there use decent pastry instead of the regular rice paper ones you get from everywhere else. give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Whilst still in California I read an article about some mamby pamby crying about getting a polite notice to watch over his children while in the restaurant for their safety and respect to others dining there. Apparently it’s a standard thing they do with anyone bringing children into the restaurant. Having been to restaurants where children are screaming and running around while their parents are oblivious, I knew this was my kind of restaurant. After getting settled into our new place in Bristol my wife and I made the drive up to Gloucester to wander around and of course had to have dinner here. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We had a chance to talk to the owner who was very gracious and said their business has gone up due to local support since the article. We’ll be making more trips to Gloucester just to stop in for dinner here and to show our support as well.
