Fantastic food and great service from the friendly staff. The Hereford Beef dish was absolutely delicious, melt in the mouth with a very tasty gravy served with bubble and squeak. Really looking forward to going again and trying a different dish next time. The pricing of the food was very reasonable too, I've paid a lot more money elsewhere where the food was nowhere as good. Another thing I liked was the policy of no under 12s, nothing worse than trying to have a quite meal for two ruined by screaming kids. Anyway can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. :-)

We had a birthday dinner here last night as a party of 7. It was packed but even though it was busy, the service was good, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was top notch. We live within walking distance and will def be returning!! It was by far one of the best meals we've had in a very long time. In particular the Longford lamb was exceptional! Huge portion and fell off the bone whilst being succulent and pink! So much choice on the menu it took ages to decide and will def be visiting again to try some of the other dishes. Reasonable prices also!

Staff were very friendly, food was absolutely amazing, we had the Longford Lamb (About the size of an actual lamb!) And the steak with peppercorn sauce for mains then the lemon meringue pie and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I really struggled to walk home after!

Best Sunday lunch in Gloucester! We love it here. The food is amazing, great selection of drinks and great service. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely outstanding. Fantastic traditional pub with cosy atmosphere. We had a party of 9 for a special birthday and the team looked after us incredibly well. Food was different class, well presented and all incredible. Massive portions!!! Well done all at Queens Head. Highly recommend.

We were a table of ten and they could not do enough for us. Constantly asked for drinks and the food all came out at the same time. Food tasted great, not the best I’ve had but overall a great experience. Will go back for a Sunday dinner.
