Delicious and welcoming Wow how on earth have we not come accross this before, looking for somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday with pride, rugby and the your of Britain in the city we walked a little further the normal to find somewhere to eat with space amd here we found the Cavern working with adults with varying different abilities and difficulties I was excited to findout what the Cavern was all about. It's more then just a cafe/ restaurant it's a safe place to relax , a venue of many talents and really has it all. The menu was brilliant has lots and lots of choice and even a specials board too where we chose the mac and cheese with garlic bread at just £5. The food was absolutely amazing, came quick and hot and most definitely a service with a smile. It's worth mentioning the coffee too this was some of the best coffee I've had in Gloucester! Was there anything to pick out that could be better at such a great venue well maybe there where a few areas that could do with a good clean but it's moat certainly wasn't anything to take away form this epic venue and the worm they do. This is now my favourite go to spot for food and a drink. Thanks the Cavern and please pass on all my thanks to the team on Saturday 9th Couldn't wait to return so went back today 16th /9/23 they where very acomadateing with a meal request we had and sorted it, we also had to pannis that came with crisps and salad it was super tasty sorry we didn't get a photo but can recommend the halloumi, bacon and chilli jam one !

Great place to play Yugioh in Gloucestershire!! I play yugioh at the Cavern, they do weekly tournaments and open duel events for casual play. I have tried a few other places in Cheltenham, Stroud and other stores in Gloucestershire, but I like the friendly community here. Everyone is really welcoming, whether you're a new player or a returning player. They have cheap prices on packs and structure decks, and I like how they offer a variety of yugioh events to keep things interesting.

Brilliant cafè! More people need to be aware of, and support this place. Giving the opportunity of work experience to people with learning disabilities. Good choice of board games too.

Easily the best place in Gloucestershire to play Yu-Gi-Oh! with the cheapest prices and best people. Martin who runs events is very welcoming and friendly while also teaching how to play.

I go to The Cavern every week to play ukelele. I have a cup of tea and a toasted teacake and it's always delicious. I have eaten a full meal there and have always enjoyed the food served. I love The Cavern because it is a place where people who might have difficulties can belong! The staff are kind and look after the volunteers who find some of the tasks challenging. I'd recommend The Cavern to anyone visiting Gloucester.

We loved it so much we went twice in the same day! Excellent food, some of the best paninis we’ve ever had, with good gluten free options and excellent prices. We’ll be back next time we’re in Gloucester!

Overall an odd cafe. It is targeted towards a very niche crowd so we felt a bit out of place being in there. I did really like the concept of the cafe, so plus points for that. It is targeted to vulnerable youths and they also offer volunteer employment opportunities to anyone to help people get work experience - love it! However it's definitely not your regular cafe. There are hot drinks and a small selection of cake and biscuits, but that's it. All the food is sweet and there is no hot food available, though they do allow outside food brought in. We went here as we were looking for a cosy cafe to sit for a few hours and use wifi, and order some food and drinks during that time. However there was no food to order and the wifi is only available by punching in a different access code every hour. I found this odd and it made us feel like we were only welcome to stay for 1 hour. And then as we didn't want to be eating sweet food the whole time, we found it difficult to spend money here to feel like we were adequately giving back to the cafe enough for use of their internet. We did receive decent service and the drinks were ordered were delicious. I also liked the Christmas specials drink options like caramel gingerbread flavour milkshake.

One of my favourite places to eat since I was in college! The concept of the Cavern is something I personally believe in and the location has a huge impact on the community. It is a welcoming place to all kinds of people and gives great opportunities to those working there. The atmosphere is lovely and the decorations are very interesting, informative and embrace the rich history of Gloucester, music and other topics. The food is very cheap, if not under-priced for what you get! I always opt for a ham and cheese panini and a can of something sweet, the portions are filling and made with a great deal of love. The Cavern offers a lot of niche events and it's space to the community, of note I often see a local ukulele group practicing in the far back and it brings a new level of enjoyment to my meal. I will to continue to always support the Cavern, as will others, and hope to see it continue to flourish and impact local people's lives.

Lovely cute decorative place. Wonderful staff and service. Had a panini which came with a side salad, slaw and crisps. I did have an ingredient missing but enjoyed my meal all the same. Was very tasty and would recommend!!!.

We wondered in by chance and were truly impressed. What a wonderful idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our chilli nachos and fluffy pancakes. - very reasonably priced. We felt bad for not spending more money. Lest assure, we will be back! 😊 PS: Do you allow dogs?
