Fantastic food was enjoyed here. Bar far the best kebab I have ever had. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour, the bread was stuffed with herbs and spices. And the yoghurt dip was so nice I asked for more. The spicy cous cous went really well with the chicken. All in all a fantastic meal.

Friendly, efficient service. Great food, plenty of choices which are all fresh and tasty. Proper cocktails. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting.

We enjoyed our lunch here today. That's a pity the weather wasn't good enough for taking a table outside, as the view is amazing. Food was delicious, I strongly recommend trying lamb steak. The size of the portions was decent, everything was fresh, meat was soft and juicy. Service was fast and nice. We will definitely come again.

21 August 2021: Went here for a evening meal with our friends who had been before although this was our first time to The Med Kitchen. We absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout and we booked a table on the inside with views of the Gloucester Docks/Basin to the outside. Our meals were amazing and delicious and my pint of Estrella Damm on tap was pretty good considering I'm a Camra real true ale drinker! The Tekena Merlot, Whispering Hills White Zinfandel and Stowford Press cider on tap drinks were excellent. As starters, we had two rounds of Focaccia with Olive oil & Balsamic dip and a round of the Med Chicken Wings. Our four mains were: Beef Burger, Half Grilled Chicken, Grilled Seabass and the Grilled Marinated Lamb (Lahem Meshwi) with Couscous, all delicious and good portions. No one wanted a desert as they were still full from their meals but I needed to have a desert as I have a sweet tooth and went for two scoops of the Madagascan Vanilla Gelato Ice cream...so refreshingly delicious and perfect to finish with.. We boaters call The Med Kitchen "The Rusty restaurant" albeit with admiration to it's rusty appeal and charm. The interior decor was warm and modern and the outside seating area was appealing as well and attractive. A big shout out and thank you to all the staff and especially Arturo, Neve (Niamph), Suleiman and Robin (owner). We had a really good evening, food was a delicious delight and thanks for such a great experience. Great restaurant, great staff and great location....definitely recommended!

We came here for dinner and had the mixed grill for four, a pasta dish and the aubergine stuffed with lamb mince. We also tried the kuefe for dessert. We also shared two dips as starters. The total bill came to around £80 (for 7 people) which I thought was reasonable. I thought the food was good but not outstanding. I would rate the food itself as 4* as I have had better Mediterranean food. However, the service was excellent and very friendly and that together with the value pushed my rating to 5*. The meat at this restaurant, except the steak, is halal.

Went twice in a week, after never visiting before. Food excellent both times, staff attending tables very polite. Front of house very polite on Wednesday. Different front of house on Saturday, not so welcoming which was a real shame as with my mum who hasn’t been out in a year. Felt like we were a burden to fit in rather than a paying customers.Asked for blankets as very cold and heaters not switched on by us, seemed he saved the best seats for reservations. Nice position but can get quite cold as very open, nice if you get a seat with wind break, in the sun, and with heater. So best reserve a table. Blankets very nice .

Had the fantastic Grilled Spiced Kebabs which were fantastic, the superb Kanafeh for dessert all washed down with a G and T. Great service, well priced. We'll be back!! 🙂👍

A really nice restaurant with great decor. It was such a nice atmosphere as soon as we arrived and throughout our meal, which I am glad about as it was my mums 60th birthday meal and there was a group of 6 of us. The staff are really nice and are always professional, even going the extra mile to decorate my mums birthday cake. The prices are good and the food tasted nice as it was cooked fresh from the grill. I had Moroccan Lamp Chops which were marinated in Harissa with an orange essence. They were served with chunky chips but now I wish I had their paprika chips which looked amazing. Highly recommended.

First visit here today. Decor is nice, guy who served us was pleasant. Food took quite a while to come but was worth the wait. Mix up over order and was charged for incorrect meal but was sorted easily.

The food was wonderful but the overall experience felt off. Plates were cleared before people had finished eating and the bill came before we even asked for it as we were deciding what to do next. Everyone was lovely but something was just lacking tonight. Drinks also seemed to be really expensive...£4.95 for a pint of coke.
