We had a meal on the golden years menus, excellent value £4.79 including desert. The service was first class. Will be sure to go again.

Absolutely amazing lunch and drinks! Very fresh and great atmosphere. The chicken burger was incredible, just HUGE! The recommendation of dirty chips was the best suggestion ever! They were absolutely delicious!!!!!!! Great value and attentive staff. We will be back !!!

Popped in with the family on a Thursday evening. The place was busy but with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was extremely good and we all enjoyed our meals. Standouts were the Pork Belly and Goodfella burger. We were served by Ben and his excellent service made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. A great value local pub. Will visit again.
We visit this pub frequently as they are so welcoming with the kids. It’s has a great family atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. The staff and warm and friendly and the food is great. A lovely place for a chilled family meal.
We booked a Table, On arriving we were told, You can sit anywhere !!! Not welcoming, when you have friends. On going to order, having 2 vouchers for sizzlers, were told had to be done seperately ! 3 ordered the same starters, thus hoping to get 3 different sauces as stated on menu!! we were not asked, if we wanted this , & all 3 came out with same sauce !!!!!
The meals were fine, with a very attentive lady serving us, constantly coming back to check.
Busy and bustling atmosphere whatever time of the week. Ellie and Jamie are service with a smile however busy they are.
Yes, if it's really busy, you are likely to wait a bit longer for food but the food is always really good - just get another drink in while you're waiting!!
This has got to be one of the best pubs to eat in in Gloucester. The staff are very polite and friendly when you get there - straight away making you feel welcome. The pub itself inside is nice, clean and actually makes you want to stay. The food choice was good and everything was in stock. Ordered at the counter and food came out in a reasonable time and was excellent. Very nice food and everyone was impressed. This is family dining as it should be - many thanks. Even the outside terrace area is a nice touch 👌. There is plenty of dining space outside aswell as inside and ample parking
Went there for my birthday and it was the best meal I've ever been out for, the service was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was perfect aswell. The best steak I've ever had and the price for all of our food was amazing. I will be going back on a weekly basis from now on because everything was great. Well worth a visit!
I would definitely recommend this place the staff was so lovely! Jamie brought over our food with such a big smile and the food was just amazing. We also took part in the quiz which made our night even better, it was so much fun! I will definitely be coming back again and bringing more people.
We had a meal at the Turmut Hoer first time for a very long time, I had the Sizzling grilled chicken on a bed of vegetables, wow that is the best meal I’ve had for ages it was fantastic. Also the staff are lovely and work really hard. Will definitely be going there again soon, thanks also to the chef.
