Absolutely amazing lunch and drinks! Very fresh and great atmosphere. The chicken burger was incredible, just HUGE! The recommendation of dirty chips was the best suggestion ever! They were absolutely delicious!!!!!!! Great value and attentive staff. We will be back !!!

This has got to be one of the best pubs to eat in in Gloucester. The staff are very polite and friendly when you get there - straight away making you feel welcome. The pub itself inside is nice, clean and actually makes you want to stay. The food choice was good and everything was in stock. Ordered

I would definitely recommend this place the staff was so lovely! Jamie brought over our food with such a big smile and the food was just amazing. We also took part in the quiz which made our night even better, it was so much fun! I will definitely be coming back again and bringing more people.

We visited the Turmut Hoer for lunch on weds 16th August (4 people including my very fussy elderly mother). On arrival staff were really polite and helpful, the tables were clean (not sticky!), and there were plenty of condiments on the tables.

For a honest pub, the food is beyond what you would expect and superb value. In our recent visit I think the service time and approach had been updated. Extremely attentive to us, and again for just a pub this is above and beyond what is expected.
Steak never cooked as requested, always comes well done. I have even asked for my meal on a plate instead of a skillet, but it still comes the same. All the rest of the food was just fine.
We’ve been going there since it was built 2 or 3 decades ago. It’s always popular for good reason- it’s well run and the staff are very friendly. Caroline and Ellie do a great job.
After reading the reviews I was really disappointed, they had no knowledge of my booking... although busy, food came nearly 2 HR after ordering, it was nice but couldn't definitely decide if it was good or we were just famished?!
