The Priory Harvester

went here today 24.2.18 and the food was total rubbish. I have been before and it was ok, that was around 6 months or more ago, went now it's bad, that bad if never go again, had the 83 combo I think it was called. the half rack of ribs were smaller than a slice of bread and chewy and like string, the half a chicken was very small and looked and tasted like it had been in the oven or left on got plate all day then microwaved to warm it up after trying to salvage some decent meat off it I gave up. the chips didnt taste too bad but McDonalds ones would of been better. the Pepsi was just like fizzy water and even though I told them it was tidy just walked of as if to say tuff. about the only ok bit was the salad bar and hot bread rolls. the Mrs had the kilo of ribs and it was the same. chewy and like string, it said on the menu slow cooked over 6 hours and perfectly tender. lol. I think they had been drinking when they wrote that. oh and our meals were nearly £20 each. if given the choice go somewhere else to avoid disappointment.

These chips are to die for! I think they were called sage and herb? Something like that, they were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside with a good sprinkling of that herb coating. This is the original chicken combo which comes with a portion of chicken and mini ribs, corn, the godly chips and gravy (which I wasn't very keen on and I'm a gravy lover) The staff were very accomodating considering we turned in to a bit of an awkward sized group as people were late replying.
