Lunch here was fantastic! The fish was succulent and fresh with a crisp batter, and service was lovely in a cozy setting. I’d highly recommend anyone coming to Gloucester to drop by for a meal.

Honestly this was the best fish and chips I ever had in the UK. The battered sausage was as well a delicious surprise. They do their own batter which tastes amazing. With home made sauces, locally brews this is definitely a place that I will visit again and I highly recommend to anyone who is around Gloucester. I cannot forget about the location, a wonderful building which is a few hundred years old with a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Last but not least I would like to say " thank you" to the staff for taking such a good care of us and making sure everything was perfect. Really great people.👏👏👏

We enjoyed a wonderful fish and chips meal. The batter was light and crispy, and the homemade tartar sauce delicious. Service was excellent; friendly and efficient, and we felt that we were treated as honoured guests but also as family! And great value for money, too.

This is mainly a to go restaurant, but we tried their sit down area in the second floor and it was really nice. There are tables by the front window. The food itself was well flavored and well battered. Get the sauces, especially the curry one. It goes well with the fish. The fries are pretty good. Coke is good. Bathroom has a smell. Service is okay, they're mainly busy with the to go part.

Feeling hungry after a rugby match, I decided to try this establishment as it is quite close to Kingsholm. It is a small tutor building with an upstairs restaurant attached to a busy take-away. I ordered plaice and chips and a beer to wash them down. Cannot fault the meal, the plaice was fresh and particularly delicious. Staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Gloucester.

The best chip shop in glos! Have eaten from there plenty of times, and every time has been spot on! Highly recommend this place to anyone who has never eaten from there before! Nice fresh food, friendly staff, and very fair priced!

Our go to chip shop in Gloucester and always get good food. Cod cooked to order and decent size and chips always fresh.

Okay my turn to review this place. I enjoyed the chips. Fish was ok but seemed to have a lot of bones in part of it, and nicely battered. No problem with the pie... quite nice. I did think (and I know things are going up in price)... but £14+ seemed quite expensive for fish / chips and a pie
