A great Community Cafe where the combination of simple good food, good prices, warm , clean and safe comfortable environment for anyone and everyone is a credit to our Community. A hub for local groups and gatherings, well stocked reading and games area, immaculately clean ....immaculately clean..what more is there to say? Big hearted lovely people and, not forgetting their coffee which is fab! Xx

Was early for a meeting - on purpose so I could have lunch here. Had a wonderful Brie'n'bacon panini, plenty of tasty filling and perfectly crispy roll. And a decent strong coffee too.

Great Community Cafe and more....Fabulous service, great well priced food, immaculately clean and welcoming. Discovered three months after moving to Gloucester and is now one of our favourite places. Amazing staff, brilliant service, lovely food with loads of vegetarian options and an amazing idea to have a kindness board to help those in need/hungry!

A lovely, spacious coffeeshop with good food and drink, a short distance from the centre of Gloucester. There is a small play area and a community room for hire. It's a great place to meet.

Lovely. Such a lovely place to have a coffee and cake. The downstairs is spacious, open and airy and the upstairs is quieter with books you can borrow. So many events are held at Roots also, which i keep meaning to get involved in. A wonderful place run by wonderful people. I would highly suggest popping in if you're local.

Cheerful local café with a relaxed atmosphere.
Plenty of room on the ground floor, including a small play area for little ones. There's additional seating upstairs with a selection of books for all ages.
The events room for hire is big enough for a large meeting or kids' party.
The menu is simple but the food quality is high: cakes and coffee are particularly good. The presentation is as good as any coffee shop chain. Prices are very reasonable too.
All the staff are always helpful and cheerful.
