My two year old and I came for dinner the other evening. It was a real treat for us and it didn’t disappoint. The food came out quickly and tasted lovely! But the highlight of our visit was the staff. They were all very welcoming and happy to sit us down. You could really sense that they enjoyed working with each other and had a good working relationship with the manager, which sometimes lacks in places.
My two year old decided that he didn’t want to sit for dinner anymore and began to walk off and shout, which left me feeling embarrassed. However, the staff continued smiling and talking to him. He took a real shine to Giorgio and they spent ages talking and playing (which meant I could eat my dinner, hot! Something that doesn’t really happen anymore.) It really was the kindest thing, something that might not come under his job description but made such a difference to our visit. We left and my two year old said ‘that was fun I like it there’ So thank you!

This is the best restaurant in the area to take kids. Rosario and the team are so friendly and so great with kids! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great staff food yummy always made to feel welcome. Highly recommend for children's birthday party. The team were fantastic. The children had a great time. Everyone left happy.

Great food and service. Bit of a shame that our table had a big chunk missing on the corner and there was a correlating crack in the wall. Might be time to retire that table and replace a few tiles; minimal effort for maximum effect.

Lovely quiet meal
Food was perfect, one starter was missed off the order but was rectified instantly.
Staff were lovely and extremely accomodating to my son's needs (type 1 diabetic)
I would recommend this branch of pizza express to anyone 👍

It surprises me how much pizza express quality can vary between restaurants. They're all good but Godalming pizza express has by far the tastiest food and friendliest staff. Good job guys! Edit - Seriously... These pizzas are amazing and the staff are epic!
