I called in here with my daughter and husband. The staff are so polite and friendly, we love the savory lattices and they make great coffee too.

Possibly one of the best Nero I have been to. Cleanliness can be improved but it’s a good place for takeaway coffee. Good flavour.

Very nice coffee, the cake was fresh. The service was excellent once you got served but the queue moved very slowly. This is a staffing issue more than anything else as only 1 person serving who was taking your order, making your coffee and taking your payments. Other staff who assume were in the kitchen or in one case off duty often queue jumped worked the till to pay for own food and drink and made their order prior to any customers hence 3 stars for service

Good service and a tasty pane de raisin. Decor all a bit dated now. It could do with a lick of paint and a few new pics on the walls. That said it was nice and clean.

The barista was on his own, telling those in the queue his colleague didn’t turn up. In spite of this he was polite and did a fantastic job serving everyone!

Good coffee and friendly services must be a default setting for Nero and that's what we get. What I like about this branch is the historic building - different levels and corners make a unique ambiance and, importantly, high ceilings are great (especially if we think of the importance of air circulation in relation to how any viruses transmit). I would like to introduce the humane kindness of the staff - a homeless guy told me last winter in freezing cold that Nero was taking good care of them, which was heart warming and I thought worth mentioning, acknowledging and appreciating here.

Staff seem to be friendly and to keep the place clean and tidy. Freshly baked pastries every morning and the lunch options seem better than most chain coffee shops. Where you are able to have a main like a sausage roll and add a simple side salad.

Really nice little cafe, friendly staff, tasty sandwiches and paninis. There is a great selection of cakes too, and they're dog friendly. Becoming my favourite place to stop for a coffee!

Always a friendly service, with the majority of the staff rembering my choice of coffee every morning which is a nice personal touch. Special mention to Emily, who personally dropped round a pastry for me in my office as they were in the oven cooking when i was in the shop! Very much appriciated! :)
