Mings Express

I have been here twice before for sweet and sour Tofu and Tofu in black bean sauce. Both time was absolutely lovely. Thought I found an idea Chinese. I'm vegetarian and love Tofu. My 18 year old daughter does too. However, not ordered since just after lockdown was lifted from Covid 19. So,my assumption is, the food had been freshly ordered back then. My lastest order, same order was not nice at all. I'm sure Tofu is not all that popular? This time it was hard around the edges as though it was dried out, quite hard to chew. I was pulling hard bits off it. I think it was probably the same Tofu ordered after lockdown was lifted! Stale and dry. Parking is a bit of an issue. No allocated parking. Cash only payment.

Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in the area, great big portions, freshly cooked and hot, the Singapore Chowmein so tasty! The takeaways in this area are normally terrible, and when i say that I mean literally so. We live in Abram with 3 chinese takeaways that are all very poor. Mings Express is a our go to now everytime. Keep up the good work please don't let your standards drop as with so many places that take there customers for granted.

We ordered through justeat at 17:55 for delivery at 19:05, this was immediately changed to 19:35 delivery. At 20:15 we still had not gotten the order and so I phoned the restaurant. For 15minutes my calls went straight to voicemail following which the restaurant had changed to being closed and not taking orders. Ended up contacting justeat and cancelling and getting a refund. Disgusting trader, would give 0 stars if it was possible.
