We called in for sunday lunch today, it was absolutely fantastic. The beef was served with big fluffy yorkshire puddings, delisious roast vegetables, cauliflower cheese and fresh veg with lashings of tasty gravy. The staff are really freindly and attentive. The pub itself is decorated tastefully and is comfortable and airy. Altogether a lovely afternoon with fab food and maybe a slice of cheeky cheesecake, which was the best ive ever tasted. Will definitely look forward to visiting again when we are in the area. Thank you everyone at The Kings Head.

Had a beautiful Sunday roast. We didnt book, we just turned up and as a party of four we weren't sure whether we were going to be able to get lunch but we did and even though they were busy they were so accommodating. Great food, brilliant staff and the chef came and asked if we had enjoyed it, she was so lovely. Definitely worth it,definitely going back and if you're out that way you must do the same 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hospitality and food as it should be! It's quite rare to dine out and not be able to pick a single fault and it's extremely rare that you are blown away with every element of the experience. Everyone that we encountered at The Kings Head were very friendly and welcoming and everyone seems to work well as a real team, to pull it all together. There is a lovely undertone of humour running between the owner and the chef and it is a joy to take part in the banter. We were drawn to eat here after seeing some really good-looking platters of food on Facebook and noticing that these weren't one off pictures but many more photos from customers, taken over a good period of time and this demonstrated a real consistency in the quality of the food. We were lucky to get a table as it was Mother's Day and they were almost fully booked well in advance. We joked that Gordon Ramsay wouldn't be unhappy eating here and the gravy is so good that they ought to jar it and sell it at the bar 😁 We were even provided with a complimentary glass of bubbly as it was our 35th wedding anniversary, which was a very kind gesture and very much appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the Sunday roast platter but I can guarantee that it looked just as good as it did in all of the social media pictures that I had seen. The beef was tender and tasty and the pork comes with a wedge of crispy yet light crackling and a huge yorky pud, probably the best you'll ever have anywhere. The prices are on point and the beer is good The restaurant is nice and bright with a pleasant ambience and the car park is large and tidy with plenty of space to manoeuvre a big car around in, without fear of clipping another car. We will definitely be returning (often hopefully) 🍻 (Photo pinched from Facebook for reference)

Came for a meal here Friday evening, we had a lovely evening! Food was delicious, I had Parmo which was lovely and totally different to how it is made back home, thoroughly enjoying it as did my husband with his steak and Guinness pie! I had a crumble and cheesecake both delicious and very reasonably priced! We will definitely be returning when we come back in June! Very friendly and helpful staff ! Was also quiz night, so had a good crowd of people in ❤️

We came for Sunday dinner and it was stunning all the food was beautiful and wonderful service. The only criticism was the boards on which it came out. We were a table of 8 and you couldn't get the boards on the table alongside the plates and the vegetables. Please go back to serving on the plates it may look good but definitely wasn't practical

Had Sunday lunch here and it was 5 star for taste and presentation. We both had lamb and it was delicious. Please leave room for home made pudding. I had apple and blackberry crumble, my husband had treacle sponge both with custard and was perfection. Lovely friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Thank you Kings Head.

Had Sunday lunch here. The staff, food and drinks were perfect! We had a very enjoyable afternoon/ evening here. There was an open mike night on, which really filled the place. We stayed for a couple of sets and then left. Really good place to have a meal and a few drinks.
