Stopped there on Wednesday after a long drive from Newcastle. The lady came out and offered us both a free tea or coffee and in a proper mug which was so nice of her. Loved the food as well so will stop in there again definitely
Nice little local chippy. Food always nice. Prices are good too. Owners are lovely people. Very empathic with additional needs children. They do lots for many fund rasing causes.

Quality fish and chips . Fish cooked fresh for you . A good selection of pies , sausages , ect and very friendly staff . Very easy to recommend in my option . Enjoy
Tried this Fish & Chippy and wasn't disappointed with the food. Massive and I mean massive bag of chips and a lovely sized fish. Cheapest i have found in the area.
Only gripe....it's cash only which if the 2 village shops are closed, there's no cash machine for 5 miles.

Home made fishcakes are head and shoulders better than any that I've tried before.

Very nice chips, the curry sauce was ok but not completely to my taste. The fish was very fresh and the batter very well cooked indeed although there was lots of batter and not much fish. The staff were really lovely and the place spotless clean . I would certainly recommend this place overall.
It was a bit expensive for savory Patti, chips, and curry. however very nice.
