Nice little pub in the middle of Whitley Bridge. 10 minute walk from the truck stop. No frills pub, great beer great service and great punters. Very welcoming.

Stayed here a few times now while working away! Rooms are very comfy and allow you to relax. Jim & the bar staff are very welcoming, had a fair few good nights with the locals playing the pub quiz and decent turns on a Sunday!

Great atmosphere, the locals are very friendly, I was even invited to join a pub quiz team. Very clean and well kept pub with a friendly landlord. There could have been more choice on real ales but it didn't deter too much from the night. Overall a great night in a lovely pub, a second visit is much anticipated.

Absolutely amazing place, after being let down by another local pub for a 2 night stay and being stranded in an area which we didn't know, Jim the landlord was Absolutely amazing, made us feel welcome. The whole staff team were fantastic along with all the locals. They were all so helpful and went out their way to make our stay enjoyable. Had an absolute amazing time and met some great people. Would 100% recommend.

Ate here prior to the pandemic. The food was tasty, well portioned and good value with excellent service. I would prefer a real ale option on the bar but they were waiting for a refit to install new beer lines. Post refit the pandemic hit which is hard them (like it is with others) and have done a sterling job providing takeaways and supporting those in most need within the community.
