Nice little local chippy. Food always nice. Prices are good too. Owners are lovely people. Very empathic with additional needs children. They do lots for many fund rasing causes.

Stopped there on Wednesday after a long drive from Newcastle. The lady came out and offered us both a free tea or coffee and in a proper mug which was so nice of her. Loved the food as well so will stop in there again definitely

Tried this Fish & Chippy and wasn't disappointed with the food. Massive and I mean massive bag of chips and a lovely sized fish. Cheapest i have found in the area.
Only gripe....it's cash only which if the 2 village shops are closed, there's no cash machine for 5 miles.

On route home,quick detour, happy to find this little gem of a true village 'chippy' fantastic Fish, chips & proper mushy peas!
Home made fishcakes are head and shoulders better than any that I've tried before.
Pleasant , friendly staff, no fuss just good service and great food!

Very nice chips, the curry sauce was ok but not completely to my taste. The fish was very fresh and the batter very well cooked indeed although there was lots of batter and not much fish. The staff were really lovely and the place spotless clean . I would certainly recommend this place overall.

Lovely fish and chips, not cooked to order, love the idea that they leave fish on the side to drain, so the batter doesnt feel mushy, and it crisps up. Chips lovely too. Quick service. Really friendly people and the curry sauce is lovely too. Just like the good old days. :)

They delivered 26 portions of fish and chips to our motorhome meet. Best we've had for ages. Piping hot, excellent portions. Super happy with the service. Highly recommended chippy!

These fish and chips have got to be thee best I’ve ever had. Great value for money with big portion sizes and delicious food, the staff couldn’t do enough even giving me tasters as I wasn’t sure about the chip spice, they gave me a free portion so I could try before leaving. Very impressed and I will be returning without a doubt! Thank you
