Excellent cask and craft ales, larger and cider. Cocktails a speciality, drink in or take home. Cocktails canned on the premises, plus wine and gin Great company and atmosphere. Fantastic street food. Rooms for private parties and events. Various art events, from Spanish Lessons, to crocheting and painting to a book club and a Performance Poetry Team.

My new husband, Dave, and I recently got married at Camblesforth Hall just down the road from Yorkshire Ales and we chose Vicki and her team to provide the bar for our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. Vicki was a delight from start to finish, making us feel at ease whenever we needed to discuss what we wanted for the the day. The choice of cocktails was amazing and as for the mock tails....FANTASTIC!!!! Vicki supplied us with a fully stocked bar and the wine chosen complimented the Wedding Breakfast beautifully. During the day Vicki and her trusted side kick, Camy, provided drinks with ease and always a smile. Nothing was too much for them and they provided coffee and teas for the guests even though this hadn't been arranged. All we can say is a big THANK YOU and we will be recommending Yorkshire Ales to anyone that will listen to us. Vicki and Camy became part of the Wedding Party for sure.

Went in for a couple with a bunch from work, the staff are really friendly, they have a wide variety of drinks on offer, not just ales but plenty to keep everyone happy. It's a lovely little place with a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back

What a lovely experience we had in the Angel dome with the cocktail and sharing platter for 6 people last night. The dome was warm and cozy on a January night. The food was totally outstanding, compliments to your chef and a great choice of cocktails. Table service was simple - just text your bar order and it was brought out to your dome, fast and friendly efficient staff. A great experience not to be missed. (We even took wood fired pizzas home for later and they were great too!) 5* and we will be returning. Thank you for a great evening.

We love this place - as do our dogs! Vicky and Adrian are the perfect hosts serving excellent beer and a wonderful range of cocktails. Several seating areas to choose from inside and a gorgeous beer garden complete with domes! Dogs are made to feel very welcome both inside and out which is really important to us. It's also great that there is a vegan option on the street food menu - hardly any vegan options for miles around so this is really appreciated!

Me and my other half booked one of the domes and we had a fantastic time. The staff are amazing and really friendly (they kept bringing treats for our dog!). The cocktails and food were lovely and they had a great selection of beers. If you're looking for a friendly country pub with outstanding food and drink then look no further!

I was previously presented with a mini keg of my favourite tipple - White Dragon and decided to order another online before lockdown 2. A straightforward procedure assisted by Vicky who confirmed the order and collection. I opted for collection even though I live 25 mins drive away as it gave myself and the boss the opportunity of pre-booking a table for a quick pint on arrival. We were met by Vicky and offered a table which met Covid distancing rules, with face masks worn until we sat down. The pub has complied with all Covid requirements in a Professional and friendly manner, which was capped off with a very nice pint of White Dragon and the mini keg to take away. I look forward to returning for more essential supplies and eventually another visit inside when things allow.

Awww we had a fab time at Yorkshire Ales. We had Gin Afternoon Tea. Great food and even greater gins. So many to choose from with great advice from fantastic, helpful staff on which gin went with which tonic. We will definitely come back and try an ale or 2 also.
