The Ranch

It's a lovely setting, with lots of interesting things for kids to look at. We went primarily become of their large menu with things suitable for those with special dietary requirements. Quite a few things were unavailable. We ordered something marked as vegan that came with non-vegan coleslaw (the menu didn't even say coleslaw was included in the dish). The food was nice enough but I couldn't really enjoy it after that. The staff weren't particularly friendly.

Was not alot of gluten free options When I did try order the gluten free afternoon tea there was no cakes gluten free or scones so would of been a sandwich only which was very disappointing. I went for Nacho's and they were absolutely delicious Service was average and would of been nice to have a cheerful greeting.

Service was wonderful. Lots of friendly, hardworking staff. They were prepping for a party but let us sit in the garden until then. My party ordered sandwiches and wraps that were served with salad, coleslaw, and chips. They were tasty but the salad was a bit old and limp. Perhaps they're used to people just leaving the salad(?). My mozzarella wrap was toasted on the outside but cold inside. I'd assumed the mozzarella would be melted. It was still tasty though. I'd love to come back and try the pancakes. Please note they stop serving food at 12 and start again at 12.30. However, you can easily preorder and grab a drink and relax.
