A lovely clean hotel on the beach front. We had a free upgrade to the sunshine suite which was a nice suprise. Very comfy and spacious. The view was nice apart from railings and solar panels outside the window which meant a slight obstructive view of the lovely beach. A
cute little cut out with chairs overlooking the harbour on the second floor. Food was nice, staff friendly. Not a cheap stay but nice. Lifts available for those who need. Location is lovely but not much to do in the area

My three friends and I had lunch on Saturday at The Pier. Our experience was perfect in every way; I could not fault anything.
The restaurant was delightful, the staff were excellent and our meals were delicious.
This was the best meal out that I have had this year.
I urge you to try this place!

Popped in here for lunch while visiting the area. Had fish cakes which although small as a starter were very tasty . My wife had pate which had a large portion of pate and could have done with more bread.

A man on reception kindly drove me to the hospital for my hospital appointment at James Paget Hospital when I was late. I made it on time and that was extremely helpful for me. It was an exceptional act of kindness and helped me out tremendously. I am very grateful.

This place.nwber disappoints: Excellent food, drink & service adjacent to the beach, all wrapped pull in an art deco setting. There's free parking too.

Great hotel. Really friendly staff, lovely rooms with great views. Fish and Chips took me back to my childhood, proper fish with the occasional bone. Rest of the menu was good also and the beer was excellent highly recommend

Booked room 203, it was the jet bath and TV in the bathroom that swung it! Lovely large room with sea views. We also booked a twin room for our sons which had a few minor issues that were rectified or were to be sorted on our departure. Staff are friendly and attentive, we ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was excellent. Having a vegetarian in the family there was a good choice of dishes that even a fussy teenage was impressed with. We have booked again for September for our anniversary in the Suite as a treat.

Only used the bar for food but last night had a great massive steak and today a massive fish and chips. Definitely worth the money for quality. The staff is quite nice and attentive... a great place to eat especially if you use the pier terrace.

First time I've stayed...were really lucky to be upgraded to the Sunrise Suite....absolutely lovely room with a spectacular view of the beach. Great service, very friendly staff. Will be staying at this hotel on regular basis and I can definitely recommend!

Went here for lunch, the other half ordered jacket and cheese and after waiting forever for our food he got jacket and beans so they had to take it away and he had to wait again, I had the 2 course meal deal and ordered a pudding which was apple and blackberry crumble after our meal she asked about pudding and I said just my one half a hour later after having to ask where my pudding was twice I received a apple pie.. luckily I like apple pie but it’s not what I ordered. Food was nice just a long wait for everything.

Booked afternoon for friends birthday, we had a lovely time but unfortunately I won't book afternoon tea again, we didn't get a choice of sandwiches and I don't eat salmon or ham so only left me cheese and I could taste fish so didn't really eat ( I did say to the waiter when he brought them over that I didn't like them but he dismissed me and brought us coffee) cake was lovely but the little pudding all tasted the same was disappointing.

Really impressed with this lovely hotel. We stayed just one night but so tempted to stay longer! Lovely room with beach/sea view, tastefully decorated with a newly fitted shower room. The restaurant/bar was excellent with an extremely attentive/ well trained staff. Will definitely stay here again.

When I arrived I had a very friendly welcome from the receptionist . My room was nice very clean comfortable bed nice bathroom .
Breakfast was great well cooked and plenty of it. I had my evening meal in the bar again high standard of food very tasty.
The hotel is situated on the pier great views of the sea and harbour. Lovely beach 🏖
I will stay there again I highly recommend it.

Ordered the ham sandwiches and asked for no tomato, colsaw or salad. Plate came fully loaded with all of the above. Took it back and when it came back this time they'd forgot to put the mustard mayo in them so back again. The guy then comes back with a small pot of mustard mayo and told me to put it in myself. Far too much bread which just bloated out the food. Maybe it was good there was a power cut cause if you couldn't get a simple sandwich request right then I'd hate to see what a more complicated meal would have turned out like.
