What an amazing little place! Fantastic food, great service and really friendly staff. We arrived after having walked Scafell Pike and the place was heaving. The only seats left were at the 'bar'/pizza collection point which we gratefully accepted! We ordered pizzas and were not disappointed! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was to die for too! Can't recommend this place highly enough! We will be back next year! Can't wait!

I've been twice in the same week on my first visit i had the best Caesar salad I've ever had. On my second I had the spiciest Arrabiata I've ever had. On the dessert front the tirimiso was ever poor.

Everything was lovely. Except we ordered a bottle of Red wine with our meal after emptying the wine bottle there was looked like a piece of onion in the bottom. We told the waitress she took the bottle away .... came back 10mins later told us it looked like a piece of fruit when they took it out. 🤔 they say they have never seen that be for I've drunk alot of wine and neither have I. We never got a discounted or even Free. This was abit disappointing. Think I need to do some research into if this is a normal with the wine. 🤔🤔

The best food I’ve had in the UK. Great flavours in the pizza. Good drinks menu. Delicious desserts. If driving then park up the road and walk down.

Lovely restaurant with amazing pizza! Got takeaway pizzas with my partner, my sister and her friends and they were all absolutely amazing 😋🤤 I had the Harissa Lamb and it was everything I hoped for. Also, done super speedily as well - all 6 pizzas plus sides within 20 mins! Will definitely be returning next time we’re on this side of Cumbria. 👍🏻👍🏻

We were visiting Whitehaven and our hosts brought us here for an evening meal. As soon as we walked through the door the aroma told me it was going to be good. Our group mostly went for pizzas, which were unmistakably from a pizza oven, had great toppings and were a generous size. If you've gone enthusiastically into starters you will be really struggling to finish one of these. We also had the sea bass on linguine, a bit pricier than the pizzas but well worth it. The creamy leek and chorizo linguine packed enough flavour and size to be a meal in its own right. Sat atop it however was a really generous sea bass fillet with excellent crispy skin. Fortunately for us, we came with folks who knew the portion size! We may have looked tight with the bread sharer for two between four, but if you want some desert after those mains, then it's the best way to go. We opted to share two sticky toffee puds between four, it would have just been gluttonous to have one each. The cake was very light and the sauce the perfect thickness. Great finish The place itself was smart and the staff friendly, will definitely return

Arrived and went straight to our table, everything went flawlessly. Waiting staff were cheery, polite and attentive. All food was cooked to perfection, the best king prawns I have ever been served! Specials were a nice little extra too! I'd highly recommend a dessert too and we can't wait to come back.

What a lovely restaurant and the food great. We were amazed that they had vegan options for a village restaurant. It is extremely commendable to note the fantastic service especially from the lead waiter she was super friendly and efficient and kept everyone happy. Well done!
