I'm a regular customer here and find the staff pleasant and helpful. You can buy just about anything in store and they have a pharmacy a Timpsons and a photo printing and frames seller. Only one criticism , the new layout . There are barriers everywhere . For example if you wanted to get a newspaper or a snack and forgot to put it in your trolley before you go through the barrier then you cant. Its made the shop feel hemmed in and restrictive which is off putting

We had a fabulous service today from our delivery driver Jim. We are as a household suffering from covid and we desperately in need of bread. The order arrived minus the required bread and he apologised. Ten mins later there was a knock on the door with Jim and a loaf. We were really moved by his kindness. Jim you are a legend!!!

Should go for groceries and wide range of spirits. Bakery shop and cafe is a plus point. Its amazing to see wide range clothes in an affordable price. Loved to buy miniature of Glenfiddich and JD for a gift. Grooming section is also well maintained with lots of offers. If going from city center can go by metro if not taking car.

Went to Asda yesterday in Gosforth There is a cash machine there is you need to withdraw cash. Shop was a little un-accessible due to trolleys stacked against trolleys. Staff should leave gaps between them so you can get what you want. I am still rating them five out of five and that was due to a great woman on the tills. I bought a vegetable and it was not at its best. She asked for it to be changed but there was no replacement available took it anyway. I call that fantastic customer service. Much better stocked than the littler Asda's.
